hello my fellow hairy friends. (not literally lol)

Its been a while since I've been on because my computer broke. Well as you may remember, I ended up lightening my hair to a very light brown. A hairdresser told me it was a level 7. Anyways, I was going to highlight it so I did a strand test and left the bleach in for one hour and the strand got very weak and had only lightened to a reddish orange. I was relieved that I was smart enough to do a strand test before I actually did the whole head. Someone had told me that I should go for a deep dark look Mila Kunis from that 70's show. I ended up using a demi permanent color in light golden brown but I left it in for a long time so it got very dark. But under light it looks reddish-orangish dark brown. I really love really dark hair and light eyes like Sarah Brightman's look. I think its so exotic. It reminds me of fairies or mermaids. I think I will dye mine like her color and get extensions. I LOVE really love dark hair. My natural hair is really dark and wavy like hers so I figure I can just start growing it out extraordinarily long. It will take a long time, but its a goal to look foward to. Heres a couple of pictures of the color I want. What do you think? What color is it? Black? Or what kind of brown? Is it natural or golden etc?

I love the look of dark hair and blue eyes too -- very Irish. Sarah's hair looks like a level 2 dark brown with just a touch of warmth. I think you'd look great with that colour.

Have you ever had extensions before? I was just reading some horror stories in the extension forum. It might be a good idea to get some advice and recommendations from the ladies in that forum before choosing an extension method.

This is a very dark espresso brown color. I think you would look great in it. I too love the way very dark hair looks on people with blue eyes. I'm still trying to decide what looks best on me: I'm fair-skinned with dark brown eyes.... Re: extensions, I had then about 5 years ago, when I was stagnated with shoulder-length hair that wouldn't grow. They looked great, but, to be honest with you, they wreak havoc on the hair. After I got them out, I had a good deal of breakage. I had the weave type of extensions. It took 7 hours to put them in! Good luck with whatever you decide! Please post a photo if and when you make the change.
