I had applied a permanent red color to my hair. About six weeks later I decided to put a medium brown back in to get rid of the red. However, I used a level 2 color. I now have a brownish-red. I just wanted to find out if I should use a level 3 medium brown to correct this or do I need to remove the red dye with a color removal product first? Thank you for any help you can give me!
