In the meantime, I'd like to try out more subtle color. I was thinking of getting that Loreal Couleur Experte, the home hairdye plus highlights stuff. If I add highlights and a subtle color will that make it more difficult for me in May or June when I want to start getting a hairdresser to color it more dramaticly? Right now it's brown; I think I'd try the ginger or coppery brown/red home haircolor kit but let a hairdresser in the spring take me to a more dramatic light red or dark blonde. Would doing at home highlights make this more difficult?
