Hi. My sister wants to go Paris Hilton blonde. Right now she has a little less than shoulder length hair, but it is about 4 different colors. Underneath it is a raspberry red color, above that is a little bit of black, and in between all of that is a few blonde streaks and about and inch of root all over (she has ashy brown hair). I was just going to go over it with a ColorFix from Sally's (to get all that color out!) and run 40 bleach over it once or twice (whatever it needs). I know my stylist always uses a flash toner, but I don't know where the heck to find that. I want to be able to do her hair for under $30 anyway and I don't know how much toner costs. I want to be able to make her a blonde in just ONE day (how ever many hours it takes is no big deal). Does anyone have any suggestions or other techniques you'd recommend instead of mine? I'm open to any suggestions!! THANKS!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! --Monica

I think it will be a long process to get her hair blonde if it is multi-colored, but you can try bleach once, but bleach is a very risky product, don't overdo it please because it could dry her hair out and break the ends and make sure you use a plastic bag over her hair ( make sure it is not on her face), because if you don't use a plastic bag you could get orange results and it wouldn't be a platinum blonde and make sure you are very careful in the bleaching process. Good Luck.

Since some of her hair is dyed black, frankly, I wouldn't suggest it. It's going to completey fry her hair. Any chance she'd be willing to wait until it grows out before doing that, since her hair isn't all that long? It would take a long time sure, but it practically murders your hair to go that blonde even when you start off natural (I've done it).

I did it!! I ran Colorfix through her hair and it got almost all of the color out (except a lot of the black streaks) and I put 40 bleach on it. It turned a BRIGHT yellow white color, but then I put a dark champagne color on it and it looks soooo good. It looks like a babies hair. She loves it.
