I've found a place online to purchase Schwarzkopf Igora Royal professional hair color. A former stylist, now moved out of state, used these products on my hair with excellent results. Now I wish to color my hair using these products at home.
What I'm wondering is where I can go to find the appropriate Schwarzkopf formula to maintain a Level 2 Dark Ash Brown on hair that is naturally Level 5 Light Ash Brown with 25% grey? There is a beauty supply store nearby that sells Schwarzkopf products to professionals. Would they have a swatch book available, and if so, would it list the formula to achieve my desired color?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

My stylist used the same brand on me to get me to red from black! It rocks! Is the site healthandbeautydepot.com or something? Unfortunately the only way u CAN purchase this color is online, otherwise u would have to ask a hairdresser to get it for u. And did u ask for the formula from ur previus stylist? I know this color line has some confusing numbers. For instance, i use shade 9-7 w/ 30 vol. which is medium intense copper blonde, and then i go over w/ a semi. I managed to get the color through my aunt who is a professional hairdresser. If u get a chance to go w/ a stylist to get schwarzkopf color, u could check out the color chart to find a match to the shade u have on ur hair. Also keep in mind that since u go darker, u don't need a high volume of developer. I know Ebay regularly sells this color line and it is my personal favorite. My black hair lifts 9 nine levels w/ this product using just 30 vol. Tell me if u need more advice!

Veronica, thanks so much for your responses. Unfortunately, my old stylist is long gone in another state and I have absolutely no friends or relatives who are licensed cosmetologists. I think I'll get over to the store that sells Schwarzkopf and see if there is a swatch book with formulas. Once I know my formula, I know what to do. And yep, you're right -- 20 Volume developer works just right for my hair.

Success! I went to my local high-end beauty supply store and the staff was very helpful in giving me my Schwarzkopf formula. Thanks to an earlier post on this site, I was then able to go to http://store.hello-gorgeous.net/scigoxlo.html - http://store.hello-gorgeous.net/scigoxlo.html to purchase the Igora Royal colors and developer I needed. This website rocks!
