Subject: Question About Dyed Hair

I'm 15-years-old, and I naturally have light brown hair with blondish streaks. I have never done anything to my hair at all until about two weeks ago when I decided to dye my hair with a semi-permanent color all over. I chose "Natural Instincts" in a color called, "Cinnamon Stick". It was a brown and somewhat reddish in the sunlight. It looked great, and it really complimented my hazel eyes. It started to fade away though, so I decided to dye it again after two weeks. This time, I got the same brand, but only a different color. I got "Midnight". It's not even black, it's like SUPER BLACK! You can't even see my layers how black it is. It's just sooo black, and it doesn't look natural at all, and draws too much attention. I'm now afraid, because I've heard that if you dye your hair a darker color than your natural that it takes longer for it fade away, and you'll never be able to get your natural color back.

I don't like this color on me, and I can't wait until it fades away. So, my main question here is if you think it'll fade away within 28 shampoos like it says on the box?!

Thanks a lot for taking the time to read this, I would appreciate any advice.

It would definately fade w/ the 28 shampoos but it won't wash out if thats wht ur expecting. Altho u should use a dandruff shampoo like Head&Shoulders everytime and it will help fade the color more. U should have a salon help you correct the color and remove it. Or you could use colorfix but i don't know if should recommend this as I've never used it. Hope I helped! Whatever u do, don't try dyeing over it! lol.
