I visited my hairdresser on getting advice on getting rid of the dark brown semi perminant low lights outta my hair and I mentioned colourfix....she freeked and said it'd f"^k up my hair....true?....or is she being over cautious?.
I have had my hair all colours but the condition aint too bad....it aint great but it aint bad, wondered if this'd effect it!

Colorfix is a reducing type color remover..it dissolves the haircolor rather than oxidizing it with bleach. It does contain some peroxide, but it's way easier on your hair than some of the other color removers (effasol, uncolor) which are really not much more than weak bleaches. I dunno why she would freak about it unless she's got it confused with some other type of remover.

I could be wrong, but I thought Colorfix was only meant to work on permanent (oxidative) dyes, not semis. Though that's no reason to freak out. =)
