What's an appropriate tip for the stylist who spends 8 hours slaving over your hair extensions? This is my first time having them in....

I tipped the lady that did my extensions $100. I got to the salon at about 10:00 and didn't leave until about 5:00. I have no idea if that was appropriate or not, but I had already spent sooo much!

Gosh! 8 hours for your hair! My advice go somewhere else...A good, experienced hair extension artist should be able to do a full head in less then 4 hours....As for tipping 3%-5% always works for such a pricey service.
