Hi ladies! I've been reading your post for the past few days and I find alot of the info here very helpful. There is one thing that I need to know if anyone here can help me with. I am black and I am having a hard time finding my hair texture for extensions(pretipped). There are so many companies that claim to have yaky - yaki hair and I get it after spending alot of money and it's nothing like I expect. It looks silky to me.

So if anyone here knows a good place to find it I would appreciate the help. Thanks!

This texture matches black hair.

Or you can always make your own.

Thanks Afropuffs for that website.
If I wanted to make my own pretipped what is the best glue to use. I know I would buy bulk hair. And since you guys are talking about this bohyme hair would you mind posting a website for that so I can check it out? Thanks again.

amm knows a lot about tipping your own hair so maybe she'll chime in.

But as far as pre tipping, it depends on what method of application you want to use. Are you doing fusion, micro links or shrinkies?

If you're doing fusion you can dip as you go. You can either use Keratin or regular fusion glue, I hear keratin is better for the hair.

If you want to tip in order to stick in microlinks or shrinkies you can use the fusion glues and amm uses liguid gold glue.

As far as hair goes, I cut the hair off the weft. I find bulk hard to work with and pull apart.. stray hairs end up every wear.

You can order the Bohyme hair from superhairfactory

Well I don't really like the idea of fusion, so I am going to try the microlinks and the shrinkies to see which I like better. I kinda like the idea of the shrinkies. And I like the idea that I could get them at my local home improvement store.
