I want to learn to how to do hair extensions for myself as well as others. I live in Michigan and there are not any classes which teach hair extensions within a 50 mile radius. Any suggestions for books or videos, or even advice ?

There are lots of books, videos, and other resources on Doc Locks, Hairpiece, His and Her, etc. Which methods are you interested in learning, and where in Michigan are you?
I don't know much about salons your state, but Detroit seems to be the beauty-supply capital of the world. And there's a girl in the Royal Oak area who does some amazing hair.
