Hey Amm!

You are probably looking for the Bohyme Body wave. It has big loose curls. I actually ordered it today and had it over-nighted so I'll take a picture of it for ya

That photo is awesome; that's the texture I've always wanted, too. I've never found human hair that's like that, though....

Do you think it's her real hair or does she have extensions? I thought that hair like that was just an urban legend.

Well, you do a great job curling it, although I'm sure it's time-consuming. Just for curiosity, do you use hot rollers or an iron?

yes it is time consuming. I usually spend about 20-30 minutes curling my hair. Thats why I would love to find human hair that already has a nice loose bouncy curl. I usually use a curling iron, Ive never been able to use hotrollers I end up with frizz???? Sometimes I just use the spongy spiral type rollers if I have time to leave them sit for awhile. That only takes about 10 minutes to put them in and then maybe 5 minutes to do any touch up with curling iron. But I have to leave then in for awhile to get curls that last.

Yeah, 30 minutes is a lot of time every day, although I spent ridiculous amounts of time on my hair, too. I think that loose wave texture is hard to find in human; the waves are very different after washing than before, in my experience. Hopefully, the Bohyeme loose wave will yield better results than others.

OK, I know everyone says not to do this but do you know what I do? I wash my hair maybe 3 times a week. I allow it to air dry about 50-75% and when it's still damp, I pull it off to the side and braid it in several individual braids and -- ready for this??-- I SLEEP ON IT! Yeah, that's right!

I wake up with slightly damp hair that I undo and let air dry. I have the BEST wave ever. I touch up the ends with a small wand curling iron to make it blend and my hair is done in 5 minutes. I have never had a problem with tangles or matting by sleeping with it damp. As long as it's secured, it's fine. I never sleep with loose hair anyway. It's 24" at the longest so I'd probably hang myself with it if I tried.

In between washings, I dampen with Ion Leave-In Conditioner (Sally's Beauty Supply carries it for under $5, I think) and After Party Smoothing Cream by Tigi (my MUST HAVE treatment for shiny smooth hair) and I braid it loosely. It always holds the wave between washings this way.

I want to buy hair that looks like this all the time. I cannot find it at all.

I don't know what kind of hair you all are using but if it's virgin hair that has not been processed and still has it's cuticles, you can put a curly perm in the hair.

I've done it several times. I use the purple rods and I put the perm in with Toni Silkwave but there are better perms out there.

You can use even bigger rods for a bigger curl.

The bohyme body wave is amazing.

It stays in great shap but losses its wave quick.

I would recomend the Bohyme virgin body.

22" Make sure to ask for the bohyme or they send you the less better one.

The pic looks like extensions to me.

Nice ones .

P.S.

Little secret.

The BEST comditioner I have ever used for hair extensons.

Is.. Drum roll.

Pantene "for woman of color" It comes in the dark bottle.

I have done extensions for many years and this is the best ever for anyone with extensions.

Do not use the shampoo or leave in of this just the conditioner.
Also dont get it on the roots just the fake hair

Its also cheep.

Thx for the recommendation on the conditioner. I've never seen that on the shelves. Good price, too. That Bed Head Control Freak is some awesome conditioner. I'll try the Pantene too. I'm always looking for more stuff to try.

Is this the kind of Bohyme hair you're talking about?

They coulda used a better model. Yeech that hair looks horribly stringy and crunchy in the photo.

Amm:

Here's that picture I promised of my Bohyme Body wave (it's 22" in color #2). This hair looks really curly in my picture because it comes all bundled up in a knot of some sort so the curls are perfect. I was told the curls do fall a bit after wear and tear but the end result should be something like your above picture. I've seen the European wave (from your link in the last message) in person and it is not like your desired example from above, it's more like an S wave...

I hope that helps,
Kristin

It comes a bit s-wave like but after about 2 washes its perfect.

The regular bodywave losses its wave after 1 or 2 washes.

Just my observation.

Ether way its great hair.

No thoses pics at ebonyline are horrible.
The hair is so much better than that.

I'm convinced.

I'll be buying that next.

What number do you suggest for a light golden brown, Kristin? The strands I sent you are too light for me except for use as highlights. I want something that's a light brown with gold/red highlights. No ash tones whatsoever. I hate ash.

And it's really easy to unravel that out of it's twisted ball? I'm so afraid of that.

Isaac,

Is this the virgin body Bohyme you are referring to?

The colors may be a tad off because of the camera but does this help Amm?
