I've heard some bad stories in the past about removing GL's. I'm glad it worked for you

How long did you have them in for? Did you get a full head? How many strands did you have in?

Danni, I'm glad to hear that. I had a terrible time with GLs removal, but it seems to work well for some people. Do you think your stylist use any special tips or techniques that helped? And what's your real hair like? (fine, coarse, thick, thin, processed, etc.) Again, congratulations!

Pre tipped hair extensions are wonderful if not applied over and over again. I would say they should only be applied max 4 times. This is plenty of time to allow your hair to grow. The more you apply these extensions the more likely you are going to have damage in the long term. Pretipped extensions are good to get you through a bad a hair cut or just the desire to help you get passed the period of time where you just cant wait to have long hair.

Pretipped hair is not for highly processed hair or hair that is severly damaged. This method is only good for healthy hair. Any other kind of hair condition should be used with alternative methods of extensions

What other methods do you recommend for very fine or fragile hair?

Why do you think pretipped hair is bad in the long run? Is it because the removal can be harsh?

for fine, thin, straightened or bleached hair, do not do fusion of any kind. keratin and regular glue will rip the hair out when removeed. hairlocs and eurolocs will also break the hair. use braids or shrinkies, or use extendtubes, but for really damaged or thin hair, test a few strands first. if your doing sythetic extensions you can do the dome method--the sythetic hair is looped over the real hair and melted on itself only--but it takes time to learn that.
