I im in the sanjose area. And ive been in the business for about 4yrs. i live to do extentions it lets me sew and do hair at the same time. But I want to learn how to do someother kind of extentions. I dont really care for the glue in ones.. To messy. But Ive seen these plastic ones that u crimp in the hair. I believe the company that make them are called short to long any one ever here of those. if so did u like um.
The reason y Im looking for a new tech is because i have 2 clients that the braid thing aint worken and for some reason they do not want glue or anything else that looks or feels like glue.. One has thick course hair and the other has baby fine thin hair.. Oh and the hair is red. Please help

I'd recommend learning Shrinkies and extendtubes--they're both pretty easy and are getting good reviews these days. Good luck!

You can get Shrinks from Doc Locks http://www.drlocks.net/shrinkies.htm - http://www.drlocks.net/shrinkies.htm and extendtubes from http://www.hairpiece.com/dept.asp?dept_id=22 - http://www.hairpiece.com/dept.asp?dept_id=22 .

Pinchbraiding is also an excellent method, imo; it's more visible than Shrinks, but it's very nondamaging and there's no glue or hardware involved--just string--so removal is a breeze. They also never slip, or at least mine don't, even if I use tons of conditioner and silicone spray. I don't know how you'd learn it, though, except for practicing it. There's an online tutorial here: http://www.hairalchemy.com/tutorial/index.html - http://www.hairalchemy.com/tutorial/index.html

Good luck!
