Don't be alarmed or anything, but AGIB just posted on Quinn's site that when she used her purple Shimmer Lights shampoo, it turned the shrinkies slightly purple.
Chances are, this will wash out (Shimmer Lights turns my hair purple-ish fairly often, but it always washes out). But to avoid this, it would probably be best to stick with a white, clear, or blonde-colored shampoo (unless you want some funky purple shrinkies, in which case you're in luck)!

just shampoo? I wouldnt think it would be strong enough to color anything.

Sorry, I might have confused this a bit--the shampoo was Shimmer Lights, which is a toner, so it's really dark purple. Regular shampoo that just happens to be a bit purple would probably be OK. :)

Update: Another toning shampoo that will "stain" shrinkies is ArTec's White Violet. :)

The 'toning' shampoos have a pigment in them thats meant to deposit on the hair. I guess I never even thought that they could stain the shrinkies!
