Just a word of warning for English customers not to order from www.superhairfactory.com. I placed an order for liquid gold glue on 15th December and never received it, I thought it was the mail and thought it was still on its way. I then went on to order some bohyme hair on 29th December, they then e-mailed me and told me I hadn't paid enough shipping. They wanted an extra $20.00 from me. I e-mailed them back to cancel the order because it was cheaper for me to get the hair and have it shipped from ebonyline.com. I also asked them where my liquid gold glue was and they said they had never received an order from me for liquid gold glue. I copied the section from my paypal account showing the payments I had sent them for my hair and the liquid gold glue and asked for a full refund. They told me I had to get this money back from Paypal. I lodged a complaint via paypal. It came back as case closed today. They had tried to reclaim my money from superhairfactory's paypal account because apparently superhairfactory had just ignored paypal and there was insufficient funds in superhairfactory's paypal account. I therefore telephoned superhairfactory and spoke to someone called Jo who was very rude to me and told me I should be contacting paypal. I told them that it was them in fact that had my money, not paypal and that it was no longer paypal's responsibility and that they could just go into their paypal account, chose the send money option and send me back my payment. "Jo" said they "didn't have time to do this or speak to me and I had to deal with paypal to get my money back" and subsequently put the phone down on me, so chicks basically I have been ripped off severely by superhairfactory for the sum of $114.00 which I think is disgusting!!!!

Amanda,

That's horrible. I can't believe they treated you this way. I read a similar review of superhairfactory.com from another British customer on Quinn's: http://p080.ezboard.com/fhair18356frm2.showMessage?topicID=858.topic - http://p080.ezboard.com/fhair18356frm2.showMessage?topicID=858.topic

Was this your review, or are they just doing this to all their U.K. customers?

It's so strange, too, because I recently ordered from them with no problems at all (in the States, of course).

There must be something you can do to get your money back, no? I don't know much about how Paypal works, but it would just be awful if you were out all that money.

:)

Whoa. That is terrible business ethics. I will not make any purchases from them now.

Kristin, I may be mistaken but isn't this one of the sources where you get your Bohyme? If so, you're a major customer for them. Considering that, is there anything you can do here?

I probably use ebonyline.com more. I feel for Amanda though, her situation stinks! I wish there was something I could do to help

I'm looking into getting a wholesale license and then maybe I can just start selling it

"Once you file a claim, PayPal will investigate the case and attempt to come to a fair resolution. If our investigation determines that you are owed money by the seller, we will make every effort to recover funds for you."

That is directly from PayPals website, I would go back to them and demand that they recover your money for you. Superhairfactory may be able to treat you like that but I doubt they would get by with treating PayPal that way.

With so many people on this board, I bet if we all sent Superhairfactory emails about this and stated that we would not buy anything from them that might give them a kick in the butt.

Amanda,

If you think it would help, I'd be happy to write a letter or something as a member of this board and as a customer of Superhairfactory.com. I can't imagine the company wants everyone on Hair Talk and Quinn's knowing that they're refusing to refund you.

Anyway, let us know what you decide. I'd be happy to help in any way I can. If this situation is not fixed, I will certainly remove them as a reputable seller from the Extensions 101 Links thread.

LOl Jenny, great minds....

Ive only ordered LG from them. They had trouble with their shopping cart. It told them I had placed an order but didnt tell them what I had ordered so I had to copy and paste my paypal receipt and email it to them. I got my order fairly quickly but IMO it was over priced and the shipping was outrageous. I paid almost $20 for a 1oz bottle of liquid gold and the remover.

Hi there, everyone, thanks so much for your support.

Jenny - No it isn't me posting that very strikingly similar complaint on the quinnsters board, I'm not actually a member of that. I would appreciate any help that you could give me.

I can't believe that I have been treated like this. The man Jo was really rude, I couldn't believe he just put the phone down on me. Since 29th December when I cancelled my order from them I have ordered all my hair from ebonyline. They are so helpful and they've even given me a personal shipping discount because I live in England. Sounds like superhairfactory are doing this to all their English customers. Sounds like they take their money then say they need extra money which is just too much so they know the English customers will then cancel their order and then they just keep their money. I sent them a nasty e-mail yesterday saying that if I they didn't reply to my e-mail then I'd post what they had did to me on the extensions forum that I went on and they still ignored me.

I filed a complaint with paypal straight away and they investigated it and they just ignored paypal so paypal tried to take the money out of their paypal account for me but there were insufficient funds in their account so they're obviously not stupid. Paypal is still investigating it for me though, but I don't hold up much hope

Well, let's hope Paypal can do something for you.

In the meantime, perhaps you should post on Quinn's too and contact the other customer who was having problems with them.

I'm removing them from the Links thread and will write an email to the owner today or tomorrow.

:)

Amamda, I had a simialr problem when I purchased something from an individual off ebay. My credit card company refunded my money and then when after the person. Paypal was no help to me either! Id check with your CC company or your bank if you used either of those sources to pay. They may more willing to help you.

If only it was that simple. I had acrued some money in my paypal account from selling some goods on ebay, so I sent it straight from there, so it went instantly and didn't come from my bank - bummer!!!

That is a bummer.... This really upsets me because I think paypal should take more action. Paypal is big business and if people start feeling insecure about using them there are gonna lose alot of business. I think they need to wake up!

Yikes, I am definetely deleting them off my list of potential hair suppliers.

And I still think we all should bombard them with emails.

If Kristin stars selling wholesale - I'm buying from you baby!!!!

That would be so wonderful - then we would all have a supplier we know we could trust.
