| Any suggestions for shampoo for fusion/shrinkies extensions. I have been using big sexy hair at the suggestion of my extensionist, but is is drying the heck out of my real hair that it is breaking off. Please help |

I usually recommend that my clients use Purology or Enjoy. There's probably a lot of other good shampoos and conditioners out there but those are the ones I've tried and liked with my extensions. -------------  http://www.YourHairShop.com - www.YourHairShop.com

sorry I didnt include this in my other post. Can you also include the type of shampoo & Conditioner ie. for straight, dry, etc. there are so many options. I would preferably like to find something I can pick up on my way home at a drug store until I can get to a beauty supply over the weekend. ------------- |

Hmm... Unfortunately I think they are only sold in salons and beauty supply stores  Maybe someone else can give you some advice for what to get from your local drug store. The Purology comes in bottles like this in a few different colors (they also have a larger sizes):  The Enjoy line looks like this(they also come in larger sizes):  Because I am a natural brunette and I bleach the heck out of my hair I usually get the hydrating kind but I guess it really depends on your needs. Loma Pearatin line hands down. It's available at beauty stores and here: http://www.hairandbody.com/pearatin.html - http://www.hairandbody.com/pearatin.html Every once in a while I see it on eBay but not many people are giving it up. When I first bought some, I picked up several types of Loma Pearatin shampoo and some conditioners and styling stuff. The girl at the counter said, "You've got great taste. This is the best stuff in the store." I had never tried it before so I couldn't take credit for having great taste... I just knew the ingredients were fabulous and natural. The Hydrating Creme shampoo is nothing short of spectacular and contains no Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfates which can irritate and dry skin/hair. I like Pantene Relaxed and Natural Intensive Moisture Conditioner, Neutrogena Triple Moisture Conditioner, Paul Mitchell Supercharged, and Kerasilk); detanglers and shine sprays, such as Citre Shine, can be helpful, too. I like Redken Color Extend Shampoo, it's very gentle and doesn't have that extra lathery detergenty quality. I condition with Joico Daily moisturizing conditioner, and for the dry hair days I use Redken All Soft (very true to the name, makes hair super soft). I've noticed the conditioner works so much better when I comb it through my extensions to make sure it is evenly distributed. I'm not sure if you're supposed to do that but it makes such a difference in how the hair feels after I blow dry. ------------- |

I am all about Goldwell Kerasilk Conditioner, I find it is the best for extensions IMO. And I like to dilute 25% kerasilk to 75% water in a spray bottle for detangling and as a leave in. ------------- |

Hi there, I like Tigi Oatmeal and Honey Shampoo, its like having a treatment at the hairdressers, also for cheapness I like Dove hair silk treatment, you only have to leave it on for three minutes and your hair is so super soft after its unbelievable but you have to make sure you rinse it thoroughly. I give all my clients a tub of this and a brush when I've done their extensions its so great xxx ------------- |
