Its interesting, its a direct importer of hair. The photos of the actual ponytails before being processed kinda grossed me out, they kinda looked like dead animals?!

They sure do.
I have to say, I've seen so many foreign (and even domestic) direct importer hair-seller sites, and they're perplexing. I wouldn't even know how to begin to figure out which are good and which are bad. It's pretty uncharted territory.
Does anyone here order direct from India or China? I think Sherrie actually orders from Asia and has done well with that. Usually, you have to place orders in bulk, but you can get a better deal.
I would really suggest that anyone going this route do a lot of research beforehand. I know that there was a lot of trouble on the Black Hair Media Forum recently because a whole bunch of women got together for a mass order of Indian hair, which they collectively paid $10,000 for and never actually got the hair they ordered. In that case, it seems like there was some sort of scam going on among the actual board members, but I've also heard of people getting ripped off ordering from new and untested websites.
I don't want to be too negative here, but again, I just think everyone should be as cautious as possible. Many times I've seen people posting online as satisfied customers who ordered directly from manufacturers--only to find out later that they were just the company owners promoting themselves or whatever.
This entire industry should be much more regulated, imo......................

Oh, and one more thing---it seems like every hair selling site (and many stylists' sites, too) use exactly the same photos. That always makes me suspicious.

yeah I would say you have to be very careful with foreign purchases, you may not have the same laws protecting your money as you do with domestic purchases. I do order from a Korean company that has been wonderful and there are a couple of others that I wouldnt hesitate to order from. The site you posted in particular is quite sketchy and generic looking and I will say that some of there photos look like photos from other sites. The nailhair picture looks like hair21's picture from their site. And that is exactly how hair21's hair comes bundled.
