To everyone looking at extensions: I just got extensions put in at a local salon in Pittsburgh, PA. This was one of 3 places within 50 miles. I had wefts glued in for $5 per row. My hair is thin, so 9 rows made it happen. I bought the hair myself on ebay, my big mistake! The company said it is human hair, but my stylist thinks it's synthetic. Please check what you are buying and buy reputable. My extensions are excellent, and very affordable!  ------------- Tiffany Nolan |

Welcome, Tiffany! I'm glad to hear you like your extensions, but it's a drag if you didn't get what you paid for on eBay. I've bought so much stuff from eBay in the past, but never human hair, because it's so iffy. These days, it's hard to tell what's synthetic hair and what's human. But I think you'll know the difference when it's wet: Synth feels very different than human hair when it's been under the water. Anyway, welcome, and good luck with your extensions. This may sound weird but - I think a good way to tell if they are real may be to take one strand and burn it and see if it has that burned hair odor to it. Not attached of course, but pluck one out. ------------- |

I just received my human hair off eBay. I got what they said REAL human hair but it was such a small bundle than what I expected. Make sure u are careful of what u order. ------------- |
