I did a search for the best human hair on this board and it looks like I would be pretty happy with glamourhair. Although, i hate the 5 to 7 day shipping. I prefer overnight. But hey, thy say good things r wirth waiting 4.....

My question is, my hair is pretty short. It is silky straight. I would love to have wave though. When i order "bodywave", the wave never stays in.. Should I get french refined? I dont like the way french refined looks when it is brand new, but I was looking at AMMs old pictures and it looks wonderful after its washed..

Question is,, is french refined harder to deal with then silky straight? and can you blow it straight? I would still like the option to wear it straight.

Thanks so much! This forum is so helpful. Jen

Hi,

I bought the French Refined Glamour hair and it was too wavy for me. I have 21-22 inches in a Med. Brown color (I believe #4 on the chart). I was going to put it up on ebay this weekend for $150.00 including shipping (4 oz. of hand tied wefts). It's yours if you want it :O)

Hi Jennifer,
I've bought lots of hair from Glamourhair...it sucks. The best commercial hair out there is Temple hair, by Estetica Designs. My reps name is Henderson Cho @ 1800 331-7282. You may have to have your hairdresser place the order, I'm not sure.

Never heard of Estetica Designs. Can you provide more information or a web address? :)

srr, this is a board where we share info, not throw a plug and scoot. Stick around and tell us more, 'k?

Glamour Hair has its share of good and bad reviews just like about everything else. And like most things, it's all a matter of personal opinion and preference.

French Refined does not blow dry straight very well. It does fall nice and smooth after a straightening iron, though. Straighten once and it pretty much stays that way until you wash it again. Barrel curls are awesome and the curl lasts all day.

This hair can take a lot of work to keep tame. I don't mind the effort myself because the finished result is quite stunning.

It's an expensive hair to buy and then find out it's not for you.

Hi Amm,
I think you misunderstood my intensions. I have absolutetly nothing to do with Estetica Designs. The company name is Amekor Industries (Black is Beautiful) I was only trying to help based on my experience. I think I've tried them all. Again, I am in no way related to Amekor, or any other hair company.

I'll be happy to share information about the companies I've done business with who supply processed human hair extensions. Please understand this is only my oponion. I've rated my favorite companies for commercial hair in order of cost, starting with the least expensive:
Temple hair www.amekor.com
Adorable Hair-do corp. www.adorablehairdo.com
Alkinco Hair www.alkincohair.com Vvery old company in business about 50 years. They've had a lot of time to get it together. If you can think of any other companies, I'll be happy to respond.
I thought Glamourhair was very rude, and GL used to advertise for European hair, I haven't seen that add for a while...I guess someone must of set them straight. The only hair they have is from India.

I forgot to add New Concepts for quality human hair pieces. They only sell to hairdressers, and the prices a reasonable.

Hi Jenny,
Thanks for asking..
I've been doing hair extensions for about 12 years. I got really sick and tired of all these hair companies lieing (there's so many crooks in the hair selling business, it's pathetic.) So....I taught myself how to hand tie hair (a lot more difficult than it sounds- it took me over a year before I had the confidence to make one for a client, every time I make one it's still a challenge) I order the hair from the Ukraine (that's a whole nother story in its self) Hackle it, & draw it out by lengths, and tie them into a weft with a weaving pole. If your interested my website is www.hawaiianhairextensions.com
I'm not trying to drum up business, I'm have lots of clients, and repeat clients from the internet, along with my own salon extension business. I have so much work right now that I'm going to have to train someone....not looking forward to it, it's really complicated.
How about you? Do you work in a salon? You must have been doing extensions a long time to know so much about them. Did you know Sonia=hairpolice?

THE ABOVE WAS TAKEN FROM ANOTHER POST FROM SRR UNDER "What is Hair Candy"

I am a bit confused here but she is not related to any hair business but she runs one herself and sells hair. She listed all of these Indian hair suppliers but she buys her hair from the Ukraine. Why Srr did you not post your supplier from the Ukraine? Or is your supplier really the ones you listed with Indian hair? It is hard to follow your posts when they are all saying different things.

I'm having a difficult time keeping track of it as well.

Srr, I wrote this last night in another thread but it may have gotten buried.

Srr,

Set me straight on something. You wrote this post yesterday:

Hi Amm,

Again, I am in no way related to Amekor, or any other hair company. <<<<

I'm a bit confused. You're in no way related to any other hair company but yet you sell hair off a web site? Can you clarify that?

I do recall you saying you sell hair that's 100% cuticle and I asked if I could have a sample so I could look at it under a microscope. I have some really high powered ones at my employment that I can use. You never responded to that. What do ya say? Think your hair could stand up to the challenge?

I've replied to some other posts explaining myself, and my european hair wefts. When I said I'm not a company, I meant like a real company with employees and stuff. It's just me working in a studio off my kitchen. The offer still stands, I'll be happy to send you some samples so you can look at them through a microscope. Last time I head, looking through a microscope was free. It would be nice of you to do for all the other people on this msg. board. Most of us don't have access to a high powered microscope.
