Hey Kalika,
I just wanted to know how your PlastikHaar's holding up. Have you washed it yet? Is it tangling? Has it lost any wave? How are you finding the maintenance?
Sorry for all the questions--I'm getting mine soon and just want to be prepared. :)

hi hi :)
Onward with the hair.
Yes its loosing some of the wave, which is honestly to be expected. I also brush it instead of just fingercomb because I thinhk it looks better that way, which Im sure is a major contributing factor.
overall its not tangling too bad save for underneath the hair, because I have it SO think and SO long thats also a contributing factor.
Im also VERY rough with my hair. Im a dancer so Im constantly swinging it, flipping it, and I run around and get sweaty, so its not as if Im just sitting at an office job or anything.
I havent washed it yet, but I am going to tomorrow. (I hate washing extensions, its such an event lol)
I plan on blowdrying the ends with a brush on medium heet to keep them soft, then resetting the wave with very hot water when its in a braid.
Overall I LOVE the look of it, but with my profession its a bit much, next bit of hair I do will not be as thick or long.

well I just washed my hair in warm water, and the rest of the wave fell out. I expected as much, its impossible to find a good wave anywhere that lasts lol.
Im too tired (aka lazy) to blowdry or reset the wave tonight, so I'll do it tomorrow.

Kalika,
You're planning to braid it and set it with hot water; correct?
Have you ever used Dome or Prostyles? (Just wondering how those compare with PH in terms of retaining the wave.)
:)

Oh, yeah: One more thing...
Do you still like the way it looks, even though it's straighter? :)

I havent used dome or prostyles before.
Im going to blowdry the ends "neat" again, which is what I always do after washing just so they dont look crinkly, and yes I plan on braiding it and setting it with hot water. I actually havent done that before with a whole head of hair so Im crossing my fingers.
But even though the hairs fallen out, I still think it looks nice straighter :)
