If I decide against pretipping it on my own (have that thread saved where you explain it AMM) what is the best company to buy from. I recall someone somewhere mentioning some brands are better than others. Can you get plakhaar's pretipped? What are the drawbacks with buying it vs doing it on your own (besides price)

Good decision. I haven't read a good review of pretipped yet. It always seems to be inferior to wefts and bulk (don't know why this is, but....) :)

Jenny I think the hair I use from hair21 is pretty decent. From what I can can tell its comparable in quality to Boyhme(maybe a little better) definetly not Great Lengths or hisandher cuticle quality, but better than hairpiece.com remy or some of the other remys out there for much more money. And the stuff I use is made in 'nailhair' or 'stickhair'. tips. They only do wefts as custom orders.

Hmmm...maybe that's a possibility then. For some reason, I was thinking of the Hair21 hair as prebonded, rather than pretipped, but they offer both, then? Cool. How big are the tips, Sher? I'm sure they'd fit the shrinkies, but if you had to match them up with the extendtubes, which size tubes would you use? :)

Jenn Ive only used the 'nailhair' from them. But the weights and pieces per bundle are the same for ordering both. I dont use enough microrings/extendtubes to judge the right size. But you may be able to figure it out. If you melt one of the nailhair tips that I sent you and roll into into a stick tip it should be the right size. Ive done that with quite a few of them to use them with shrinkies and they have worked great!

Sounds good, Sher. This might be a good alternative for people who want pretipped human hair for a reasonable price. :)

oh I forgot. the hair i use comes in different strand thicknesses. Fine 200 strands per bundle, medium 150 strands per bundle and thick is 100 strands per bundle. I get medium.
