I think I already asked this, but has anyone tried the Micro Illusions technique? I think Jenny RR said that Afro Puffs had tried or was thinking about trying it?
I am intrigued by it, but I am wondering how long it will last in cacasian hair? If anyone has read the posts about it on the Black Hair Media board, you will find that someone named Jasmyn has taken the method and changed it a bit and claims that it is more durable then the orginal method. Does anyone have more info on this?
I have emailed Bernadette who invented this method, and she said it stays in her non-black client's hair about 5 months. I emailed Jasmyn, and she said her technique will last longer than 5 months in clients hair.
Any opinions on this?

Hey Girl, I really do not know that much about the actual method on how it's done. I have read it can take about 3 days to complete......WOW!! You will need to have alot of patience with this one.
On Jasmynn's forum, she does say that her method will last the same amount of time on all hair types. I believe she has created a special coating that makes the method last longer than normal.
This is the video I was planning on getting that sells the Micro-Illusions training kit for $249.95. I know it's not cheap!! http://www.alegnahair.com/ordering.htm - http://www.alegnahair.com/ordering.htm

I never got it done and I don't know if I still want to make that type of a commitment. But If I do decide to get it done, I'll let you all know how it turns out.... it's just a big time, and financial commitment.
I wouldn't mind learning how to do it though and use this method in the fron and around the hairlines for blending purposes but I hear it's hard to do. I haven't seen anyone describe the method well enough for me to try it, so I'd have to buy the tape.

just FYI doesn't work for me either.
is this reverse racism
seriously though, just went to another puter and it did work, kalika. We have a cable modem too. The main puter works fine, but once it goes past that hub to one of the many other computers in the house it is unreliable. Reliably unreliable.

How about trying to access the forums by going in through the main website and using the number 1... that worked for me when I couldn't access them a long time ago.
use http:// - www1.blackhairmedia.com
instead of www.blackhairmedia.com and see if that gets you in. If not, here's the email address of the help tech... info@blackhairmedia.com

ok those of you with modems that go through more than one computer, I think the problem is you need to try more than once(or just simply multiple times). THIS time the first link provided worked. It didn't before, and I had tried a few times.
I hate computers.
thanks afro for the further help
