if you cannot use heat on synth hair, does that mean you cannot use shrinkies to apply them?
and if you curl synth (as doc shows on her site, will that curl stay in? I cannot seem to find #8(light ash brown) anywhere in curly waves, so i was thinking of doing it myself.
cheers

You can curl synth, and it will stay curled until the next time it gets heat-treated (i.e. blowdried or washed in hot water). But it's a simple matter to re-do- even wetting it in hot water, tying it up in rag-curlers (or foam curlers), and letting it dry will give it a loose curl. If you want a wave, just braid it up (one big braid for a loose wave, several smaller braids for a tight wave) and dip it in hot water.

Rae,

Have you used any of the new thermofibers yet? Just curious as to what you think of them. :)
