I have black hair that is just past my shoulders, i guess it's considered long and recently put in 18" straight black extensions with lots of random platinum blonde which looks really good!
I might post some pictures soon, anyway... i want to become more adventurous with colours.
I've read alot of posts on here by blonde women who have different shades of blonde etc, which is really cool but i can't really do that due to my dark hair.
I don't want it to look a mess but i would love to have red AND blonde mixed in with black next time i order hair, does anyone have any ideas what tones of the red and blonde i should go for, or even a few pictures?

I would think the deep intense, but bright blues pinks and purples would look cool with black. Have you been to the other extension forum, quinns?

The beauty of black is that you can use any color you want, and it works! I personally looooove red and black, and with the platinum streaks you have, I think it will be fab. I've also done purple with black, royal blue and black, and turquoise! (I happened to find the most gorgeous shade of turquoise once and just had to have it).
