Wooo Hoooo! It's finally up and working! More products will be coming soon including hair *YAY!*

The next thing I plan on doing is going through my gallery and labeling each picture with the color(s) I used and exactly what method(s) I used. I've also got a bunch of information floating around in my head that I need to type out under a new page which will include a lot of hair tips (no pun intended). I'm also going to post the care instructions that I give out to all of my clients so please check back with me.
As always, if you have information that you think would be useful for my site, send it my way at kristin@HairCandy.net
Have a great hair day, Kristin

You redesigned and everything is so neat and easy to find. I tell ya, that's exactly what I like as a web shopper - easy to navigate and easy to buy. Looks great and I love love love the hot pink.
Can you carry the Liquid Gold remover as well?

Cool!
I like this part on your site:
"I just got this shop fully up and working so there still may be a few kinks, please bare with me."
Heehee! *Bare* with you! Heeheeee!
OK, don't mind me, I've been hitting the Top Shelf Margaritas all night.

Ooh, neat! I'm gonna have to try those Mega Hair loop brushes- being able to dig the bristles right up to one's roots without getting bristles caught would be awesome!
A few small things about the last two tutorials- first, the credit on the braiding page says it's from my site, when it's actually from Quinnster's pages- you might have been mistaken or just put the wrong banner in there, but I figured I'd mention it. :). Second, in my tutorial, the link about braiding (in the first paragraph) goes to Quinnster's braid page, but in your mirror of it it's not linked at all. I'd suggest it go to either Quinn's braid page or your mirror of it, since my concern (when writing the tutorial) was that not everyone knows how to do extension braids, and it's really an integral skill for pinchbraiding. Oh, and just want to make sure- did you ask KQ about reproducing the text from her braid page? I'm sure she'd have no problem with it if asked.
Also, it'd be nice if the attributions (to me and KQ) were at the top of the tutorials instead of the bottom. Technically it's irrelevant, but various internet-reading studies have found that most people rarely ever read to the bottom of a page, so the attribution is less likely to be seen at the bottom. :)
On a similar note, the photos at the top of the braids page...did you ask their owners if you could reproduce them? I know you're not claiming they're your photos or your work, but since it is someone else's image they have a legal right to say where it can be used. People can get upset about unauthorized photo use if they find out on their own, but if asked beforehand most people won't mind at all. You've got my permission, in any case, so there's one. :)

Hey there Rae, I guess when I was on your page getting the pinch braid tutorial I somehow landed myself on Quinnsters page. Still thinking I was on your page I credited you with the work. I took down the braiding page until I ok it with Quinnster. I also changed the link to you to the top of the page.
.
Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it. Kristin

Yeah, looks like she's taken it off the page (makes sense, as she is not really curating the page anymore, just hosting it). I'll PM her on ezboard and ask her for you, okay?

You're going to carry Bohyme, Kristin?! Woohoo! p.s. don't forget fusion remover!

Yay! I'm glad you love the clips Amanda! I can't believe how quick those got there! Very cool.
Bridget: I emailed you back. I actually think Doc sells the same one I have. The only difference I see is the price
Syren123: Yes I will be carrying Bohyme soon (yay!). I will probably get some remover up there but fyi nail polish remover does the trick and that's what I use. Check out my tutorial for removal on my website.

I have Docs wand and it is different - the one on Kristin's site has a groove on one surface and a protrusion on the other which I guess interlock. Docs is flat on both sides. It works well, but I would think the interlocking kind would work better with tips and shrinkies - that little groove would hold them a bit while you press down. Right now, I have to hold the strand with my fingers and I end up singeing myself (ouch). Plus Kristin's is $10 less. Go for it.

another question real quick...
not sure if I should be posting my questions here, or emailing them to you Kristen...
does the purging tool you sell have a temp. control like the one on dr locs?
thanks again!

I believe I asked Kristin before about the temperature control. The one Kristin has is not temp. controlled. The Doc Locks wand is a variable temp. controlled heat wand.

No it doesn't have a temperature control. I was able to use a candy thermometer to find out that the temperature of it is around 260-275F
It's the same wand I use for both fusion and shrinkies.
I hope that helps, Kristin
