Does anyone know where I can find a picture of what the dome wave looks like. I hear it is more wavy/curly than the PH 28mm. Sara even suggested that I try that instead. I hear that it also holds the curl better than PH. But Id like to actually see pictures of it before ordering! I looked on Domes website and didnt find anything.....

Hey Sher,

I don't think I've ever photos of the Dome Wavy--out of the bag or installed. But if memory serves, I think Merguthrie ordered the Dome Wavy initially instead of the Dome Classic (I believe she said this on Quinn's). Maybe she has a photo, although I do think she ended up using the Classic. :)

Is Dome different from Pro-Hair™ ? Where can you buy this type of hair?

Yeah Dome and Prostyles are two different companies. Dome hair is Prolin. And Prostyles is Pro-hair. Here is the Dome link: http://www.domecosmetics.com/ - http://www.domecosmetics.com/
Prostyles US will only sell to licensed proffessionals, so us DIYers are S.O.L.

It looks like Dome would be a good choice. But on their website they do not offer big selection of blond colors. Can Dome take any heat?

No Dome is monofiber. It can only be curled with hot rollers, low heat, etc...no curling irons. Thats why I like the thermal fibers, but we still are not sure how well the thermal fibers will wear in the long run. But if I could find a monofiber with the right curl texture I wouldn't need the curling iron!

As far as the color selection, it's true: There isn't much. You'd probably have to mix a few colors to get the right blend. :)

yeah I am thinking the pale blonde and the cool blonde would make a good combo. And I might throw in a package of the highlights collection. The highlights collection has some really nice blends but they are quite a bit more expensive than the solid colors. But before I do that I really need a confirmation on the curl texture.....I gotta know if its more curly/wavy than the PH 28mm and if it retains the curl better.

You can use a curling iron on some synths, actually. I've used a flat-iron on regular kanekalon before with no problems. I'm going to buy a curling iron in a few days and test it on some PH, and will let you know how it goes.
