Pardon the size but I really want to show the detail of the hair. These were taken just a few minutes ago. I had ironed my hair straight last night before I went to work and the WaWa straightened beautifully. I've ironed and curled and washed this many times in over in this past week.
The darker strands are the WaWa in auburn and some of the lighter colored ones are the strawberry blonde. There's about a dozen all mixed in there.

Next is the photo of a loose curl with a standard curling iron. The hair must be very damp to almost wet or it will not curl. If you pass over the hair a second time without wetting it, it will lose the curl. It has to have moisture on the hair. This is a loose wave that I made with it.

The next is a smaller curling iron and I specifically only made the WaWa into ringlets so you could see it. This brushes out to a very tight curl. There is no frizzing and the ends are beautifully soft. Again, the hair MUST be wet for curling.

This curl lasts through washings and braidings. It becomes a little more loose as the days progress but it never goes away. So far so good. I'm still lovin' this stuff.

That's awesome, AMM. I love it! Hopefully the Ebonyline thermo synth works as well as that WaWa (since that's what I ordered, hehe...).
I know some people use or have used a curling iron on PlastikHaar/Dome, but I don't think there's any way it would respond like the WaWa does; I really think it would singe the stuff, but I haven't tried it either.
:)
P.S.--Does the curl last through a shower, or do you need to re-curl it? :)

AMM- The WA Wa hair says it is yaki textured - it looks pretty smooth in your pics- am I missing something? I would probably look not so great with a yaki texture.......

All of us who've recieved any of the thermal fibers have been pretty impressed with the silky softness and smoothness of the thermal fibers. I believe all the thermals call the texture 'yaki' but so far they all pretty darned silky. The ebonylone is slightly more coarse in my opinion than the freetress but still looks really smooth and silky. Its not at all what Ive ever considered 'yaki' texture.

Your hair look beautiful! Once you curl your hair, the curls stay through washings until you re-curl them?

I'm completely perplexed about the Yaki thing too. I wonder if its labeled that way because they want to market it mostly to Black women (a lot of whom do their own weaves), as opposed to White women (who generally don't). I would be pretty annoyed if I was looking for a Yaki texture and the hair was that silky! :)

Jenny I cant say about the WaWa since Ive not seen it. But the freetress and ebonyline I can comment on. The ebonyline is slightly more textured than the freetress. Really not noticeable at all. But looking closely and feeling it, there is a ever so slight 'yakiness'! But frankly Ive felt & seen silky straight human hair that Id call more yaki than the ebonyline thermal! But then again my opinion is all synthetic feels a bit coarser to the touch.

Interesting. I'm sure there a probably a zillion yaki textures too, depending on the brand and product. I loved the photos on BHM of the girl who used the Hot Stuff Fusion. Her hair looked really gorgeous. Has anyone tried that one? (If I recall, the colors and lengths were pretty limited though.) :)

Sherrie, LOL!
I was so impressed by the WaWa that I didn't notice it before, but AMM's human hair looks damned good up close. I don't think any of the human hair I've used has looked so healthy and shiny. :)

you're right Jenny, I was too busy looking at the WaWa to notice it too!
Amm can you post a picture of the strawberry blonde color ? Is that the #27? I need to order some of it. I would like to find a blended 27/613. But I have 613 so I can do my own blending if I have to!

Fina - I knew you'd be relieved to see that! The curling while wet thing is actually right on the instructions on the back of the bag. The wetter the hair and the smaller the iron, the better the curl. The hair sizzles and pops in the iron and it just sounded so wrong. It works though.
Jenny - I put the curling iron to a Plastikhaar sample and fried it. No curl, no nuthin', just sizzle hair that never recovers. I knew beforehand that it would happen. I was just curious to see how bad it would turn out. I'll never do it again either.
saucyb - I don't know why they call this yaki. It's as smooth as any human silky remy I've ever had. Silkier and smoother actually!
hhhh - Well, it holds a wave after washing. That's probably a better way of putting it. It never has gone stick straight on me after I've previously put a good curl in it. For my hair texture, that wave blends perfectly.
octmac - Can synthetic hair get split ends? I didn't think it could but then again I'm a novice at the synth. The ends look fine to me though. So far, so good, I haven't fried them yet.
Jen/sherrie - Thanks! That's mainly Glamour Hair's french refined that you're seeing. It's a big hair with a lot of volume and size. Someone said I looked like that guitarist from the 80's hair band Vixen. I googled her and laughed my ass off cuz I'm like, dude, that's MY hair!! http://www.electriceyes.us/jan_kuehnemund.html - http://www.electriceyes.us/jan_kuehnemund.html
sherrie - I'm at work but I'll try to get a photo up soon. The strawberry strands are kinda easy to see in that 2nd huge pic. There's two strands coming to the surface at the very top left and they're real shiny cuz of the flash.

AMM: That's hilarious. I just saw Vixen on Bands Reuinted.
Kalika: I agree about the split ends. I haven't seen any on my synth (the ends looked a bit frazzled before I blew them dry, but no actual splits or anything).

Quick update. I got my Wa Wa #27 yesterday. . .and WOW y'all are right. It looks SO much like human it's amazing.
The interesting thing is it actually came on a WEFT!! Not the sewn thing like you showed, Amm, but a real-live weft!
It's incredibly easy to work with.
I posted on another board that I also got their "#4" but it's truly a #2. Does anybody want/need this?? The hair is gorgeous.

Hey Fina or amm can one of you ladies post a picture of the #27 for me.....Pretty please (with sugar on top) I need to get some other color to blend with my 613 ebonyline thermal. Does it look more honey blonde or red/ auburn? Seems different #27s vary alot in color.

The middle is auburn and the lighter on top and bottom is strawberry blonde. It definitely falls more into the red than blonde category. I can send you some in the mail if you'd like to see it before you buy. There's no weft on it. I think only the shorter 14-16" come with weft (at least all I've seen is that way.)

Yes, the Wa Wa is fabulous!! I can go locally to purchase this hair, so I did yesterday (finally!)
The longest the Wa Wa comes on a weft is the 14", longer comes bulk...
I got #27/613 in the 14" (wefted) for $9.99... not too shabby...

Bridget....I have been trying to get this question answered and you may be able to help me.....the wawa 27/613. Is it a side by side blended color or is it a 1/2 & 1/2 tipped top & bottom color? I bought ebonylines 27/613 and it is blended at the top, but then the bottom half is solid 613....I dont like that! I am looking for a 613/27 blend from top to bottom....LOL is that too much to ask?

Amm, the 613-27 comes blended all the way down on the longer length too, but only comes bulk.
I can go locally to buy, so I'm not sure about whats on these online shops.

well amm thats a good point. Weve established that the 27/613 weft is fully blended. But I cant say for sure about the bulk. Ive emailed hairsisters twice with no response. On their site though it shows the weft color option F27/613 and the bulk color option F27/613. So I am assuming that they are the same fully blended color.

I have a friend whose done the extension thing off and on for the past 10 years and she couldn't believe the WaWa was synth. I pulled it from the bag and I'm all like, check this hair. She was all like, my god that's silky and fabulous. I was like, it's synth. And she was like, GET OUT!!!

I'm not sure if it's 20" or 22" though. And the man that owns the store is Chinese or Japanese, so very broken english and hard to understand, he still loves to keep talking though!
