i wash my hair in the morning then i brush it 4 20 min. with pink lotion . then i put in some murrays and brush 4 another 20 min. then i put on my durag 4 about 6 hours then go to bed because i work. when i wake yp my waves are looking kinda nice , but after about a hour or two it starts to puff back out into afro looking waves. what am i doing wrong.

seems like your putting too little of murrays in or ur wetting ur hair 2much and the murrays is un loosen up and becomes not to thick.

thats what i thought also ,so sometime i put a whole lot of of murrays in enough to almost turn it white. this holds it a little longer but never all day . is it possible that im forcing my waves down and really havent brushed enough to train my hair to lay down naturally.

Man I'd going in the circus if I were you...You have disappearing waves. THAT'S MAGIC!!!....nah lemme stop LOL. Your waves not disappearing, it's there. And I'll tell you my favorite line to say since I been on this forum...Just cause you don't see it, doesn't mean it's not there.
