I went to the store today to buy the S-Curl kit. The guy at the store had waves deep as ****. I asked him how he did it and he said he used S-Curl kit. So he gave me the one he uses and told me that my hair is good length for it. But he didn't use it himself, he took it to the beauty salon and they did it for him. Now I'm just waiting to hear some tips that Bulzeye is gonna get and I gotta actually build up some balls to use it LOL.

yeah jigga i was at the mall today and saw this dude with the sickest waves i've seen in my life.....my stomach just started hurtin seeing them so i asked him what he used in his hair to get it like that.....he told me he uses this texturizer called Hawaiian Silky and gave me his method....all he did was smooth it over his head (i guess its not a comb-thru) and washed it out within 5 minutes then slapped on some dax (he uses a medium brush)......he recommended that i get the mild strength texturizer......i'm debating over the duke kit or this hawaiian silky texturizer........duke comes with what all kits come with for $6.49 and hawaiian silky is just a container of texturizing creme for $4.99.....lol i probably wont go to a salon..i'll just do it at home.....
lol i gotta a question for ya jigga...how long is ur hair and also do u have a digital camera?

wat kit did u use... i used the s-curl kit and it came with pink lotion to put around ur hairline 2 so it wont get irritated but i dont think it coulda been from the du-rag.
a yo jigga and bulzeye the kit me and my boy used worked, and we didnt go 2 a salon i did his and he did mine... i got waves that wont go away in the back but the rest he didnt comb enough, u jus gotta make sure theres an "s" pattern in ur head cause i had one in the back jus not the front.
hope this helps

your all going to face a time when your tired of the look of your waves and going to want to experiment.
Before i even thought about using a kit i tried almost every other hair product for that "new look" wax, promade, gel, jam, lotion ,dax but desire continued so i tried the kit just for kicks |
thats the same thing i'm all about....i've tried everything and i need my waves to be to the next level

i'm doing it during fall break...so that if i mess up i can get a fresh cut
in a kit u have to comb it thru right?......so then u run the risk of changin ur pattern......so what if u brushed it thru using a reallly soft brush and lightly brushin in ur wave direction.....i know Cedclark rubbed it in his wave direction with his hands.......just a thought for the experimenters

I dont think anyone should use the kit but if you must definately just rub it in and not brush or comb it. I tried a kit about a year ago and it does make your waves look good but it doesnt last and it messes with your hair. They look good for a few days but then your hair gets really dry and it dont look the same after that. My waves is just starting to look good and i definately wouldnt risk it using a kit

Yea I don't wanna mess my sh!t up but hopefully it won't be hard to start my wave pattern up again if it does.
