You girls weren't kidding about how real this thermofiber looks. I just got the Ebonyline therm in 613, and there's no way I could distinguish this from human hair on sight--except that it looks too healthy to be human--lol!

I've gotta give this stuff a test-drive....

Has anyone had bad results with thermofiber? I know Octavia was disappointed in the hair, but the last I remember, she was going to try to add water and see how that worked. Has anyone heard more from her about that?

:)

Wish I could--lol! I'll have to get some installed and see. Right now, I'm still figuring out the monofiber, but maybe I'll add some of this stuff to the mix....

Will do some home tests on it in the meantime and will report back.

Have you tried the WaWa, Kim?
:)

Sher: Amazing indeed--$8.99 per bag (about the same as what a drink costs in New York)!

Kim: The only link I have for WaWa is this one: http://store.goldenmartbeautysupply.com/wawalikehuman.html - http://store.goldenmartbeautysupply.com/wawalikehuman.html The brand name for the ebonyline stuff is "Adore" I believe (I've got the bag around here somewhere), but I think they just call it "New Age Fiber" on the site.

There's also Freetress, American Dream Therm, and Hot Stuff Fusion, which all (at least at this point) seem to fall into the thermo category, although AMM and Octavia are the only ones I know of who are actually test-driving it at this point (and they've both got the WaWa).

Jenn, the brand name is Amour, made by Chade Fashions or something like that.

Here is another link for WaWa http://www.hairsisters.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=1_2&products_id=171 - http://www.hairsisters.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=1_2&products_id=171

Is anybody's head spinning at the moment Thanks Jenny for confusing me even more. Is this WaWa (keep on thinking of the store like 7 eleven) on a weft? Where are the color choices for it? The bodywave looked nice

Kim: I'm not really sure. I think Fina got WaWa on a weft, but perhaps it depends on which length/color you specifically want? I would think it would say on the website. My ebonyline didn't come on a weft, but perhaps they're available; I'm not sure.

The wave does look nice, but I'm not sure if it lasts. It may last, in which case, cool. But it may perform more like monofiber, where the wave doesn't last too long. Either way, the advantage with this hair is that you can wet it and curl it with an iron (which is not advisable with monofiber, like Dome and PH).

According to AMM, the wave relaxes after washing, but doesn't go completely straight, so if you want it wavier after awhile, I guess you just re-curl it. (This is largely conjecture though, since I haven't used the stuff and AMM has only used it for 10 days or so).

Sher: Adore, Amour, WaWa, Hot Stuff...who on earth is naming this stuff? :)

Make sure you look for the thermal fiber. Wa Wa, amour and freetress all carry similar fiber that is NOT the thermal stuff. Wa Wa has it in bulk and weft, not sure about the others. But I think Amm emailed about the wawa and the said the weft is only 14-16 inches in length. It was in the first post she made when she got the wawa hair.

LOL Jenny I dont know who names this stuff!~

ooh, I was just looking at the goldenbeautymart site and it looks like they only have the wawa wefted(Or I just couldnt find it).Not the bulk with is 20-22 inches(?) They also have the freetress which I bought through them. The hairsister site has the wawa wefted and bulk. But the weft doesnt list the length
