Now we're talking about getting some body with this type of hair. Yow! 27/613 mix in there. Dark wine and copper color combos, too. Looks interesting. My husband is about ready to tear the credit card from my grimey paws.

This was some reviews/discussions I found on hot stuff fusion.

In the first link look at Carrie’s hair, I just love the curl !!

Great links. I'm still on the first one and am stunned by Carrie's look. It looks great with a whole head. The curl is marvelous. Six weeks without tangling! Didja hear that? OK, back to reading....

Wow, Carrie's hair looks so great! Mostly, black hair extensions have all I've been around. I've expirenced with bonding and sewing only, & I must say those extensions are totally hot.

So Hot Stuff would be a great alternative to the WaWa brand....

I love those photos--they're gorgeous! I've been following Carrie and her Hot Stuff posts for awhile; the first one I saw was different, though (but also gorgeous). I believe she created that one with a curling iron (if I'm correct the ones here are from hot rollers?).

Question about the Hot Stuff Fusion: Am I correct that the BHM are only using hot rollers on it, and not a blow-dryer or iron? Like I said, the first time I saw Carrie (another thread), I think it was actually a style she'd created with a curling iron and Hot Stuff; I could be wrong, though.

Along these lines, has anyone used a blowdryer on therm (maybe you have, AMM)? For the most part, the blow-dryer has worked well on my PH/Dome (it smooths the hair out well, anyway), but I do think I fried a few strands because I didn't keep the dryer moving a lot; the heat was therefore too much for the hair (this is my theory, anyway, cause the rest of the strands are OK).

:)

Yeah Jenny, I think a lot of the girls are using hot rollers for the synth hair instead of blow dryer and Irons. I will have to do some more reading, but I see rollers come up quite often for synth. Boogiemama and Rae would be the best people to answer this one.

Yeah, well I think the hot rollers are basically all you can use on monofiber (Dome, PlastikHaar, ProStyles). But with the therms--Hot Stuff, WaWa, Ebonyline Adore, and Freetress--you're supposed to be able to use an iron, which would be the advantage of those fibers. Amm has used a curling iron with success on the WaWa, and Sher has been testing (also with success) on the Freetress and the Ebonyline, and supposedly Hot Stuff falls into that same category.

There is no way I would use an iron on my PH/Dome mix. There's no way, imo, the hair could take it. :)

I am totally new to synth, learning so much from everyone's testing. I have only ever used human hair for extensions. I never knew there was such a variation of synth. It's quite mind blowing!! Well, the rate that everyone is finding all this synth and testing each brand, it's just a matter of time before you find out the best, how, what, where, and why. You girls are on the ball 24/7!!

Yeah, and I'm about to test some more. I just bought the Hot Stuff in the super french. I couldn't make up my mind so I bought the 27/613 combo and also the wine and red copper combo.

It's a sickness I tell you.

edit: Jenny, I forgot to answer your questions. I have never put a blow dryer to the WaWa. It's rare that I do use a dryer to the length as I typically braid it while still damp and wear it with a lot of body the following day. I don't think there's anything this hair can't tolerate as far as heat goes, though. I'm now at the 2 week mark and I just can't say a bad thing about it yet. I'm still cautiously optimistic because I have yet to wear a full head of it. I'm looking forward to switching completely over. For now, it's wearing well right along with the human hair.

Good to know. Thanks, AMM!

Now what I need is some therm with the color, length, and texture selection that PH offers. I do hope Sara can hook up a therm connection. Oh, just imagine the possibilities......
