OK I got my all my hair...finally...got the Dome last week but even though I know that the colors look differnt on the net then in real life I decided to take a chance...a bit of a mistake..but I suppose it will be my very expensive practice hair...unless i get more adventours and use RIT on it again and it actually takes on it......
Any who ultimately decided to get that WA WA from Vixen wigs in black/burg and plum ( bulk ).. SSOOO my question is not to long ago I remeber a thread where I think it was AMM that did pre-tipping with bulk but folded the hair in half or something...it wasn't the one in the magnets....I may be remebering wrong so if someone could tell me I'm having another brain stinky or point me in the right direction I would appreciate it....ahhh fun thursday night....maybe i can get some pics by this weekend..
Thanks for everyone's help

Hey Rachel,
Here's the AMM double/single tipping thread: http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum/viewthread.asp?forum=AMB_AP934431446&id=6951 - http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum/viewthread.asp?forum=AMB_AP934431446&id=6951
Good luck with the WaWa--definitely keep us posted on how it goes!

Rachel, I got my doc locs kit in the mail this afternoon and was making some doubled over pre-tips with funky synthetic colors and I found it helpful to thread the shrinkie on the crochet hook, then loop the hair into the hook itself and slide the shrinkie onto the loop. Next i grasped it with the heating wand and slip the loop off the crochet hook. That way I didn't loose any threads or have any mess. To put it another way, I maintained tension between the hair in one hand and the crochet hook in the other whilst I grabbed the hair with the heating implement. This gave a good result. It sounds super dorky....

Scotchyroo....I think i'll try that....
MERGUTHRIE....After I got it and decided to just use it as test hair I really tangles it up..not all of it but enough that I would feel bad even trying to sell it...No biggie if what OTMAC did works on it then cool if not that's why god invented re-enlistment bonuses..hehe...
