Hey girls, I don't have extensive pics this time, but I just got my boyfriend to take one. This is my Dome/PlastikHaar mix after a whole day spent trying to loosen the curl. I created the curl more than 12 hours ago, using velvet-covered hot rollers:  I only had the rollers in for 5 minutes, maybe 7 at the most. I only rolled the last 6 inches or so, and I used only jumbos and larges (a total of seven rollers) for my whole head. The hair was bone dry when I curled it. Again, I've been trying to get it straight all day, so some pieces look straighter than others, but it was a uniform curl for most of the day. It would be easy to make this hair much curlier and more uniform than this with minimal effort, imo. A more general update: The hair is holding up quite well. After a month of doing tons of experimenting, it's still going strong, and I have no reason to believe it won't last for another month or even two (although I'm sure I'll be getting my hair redone before that!). I do think it's helpful to trim the hair every so often, especially with the longer lengths. I've probably cut off three inches total since the original install. I really haven't had any bunching or tangling issues lately, but then again, I blow the hair out a few times a week, so I'm sure that helps. Product-wise, I'm using a little fabric softener and some biosilk, Dome Care, and wig spray, but I'm going easier on the products than I was at the beginning. Thanks, girls. It's really just a fluke that these worked out. The Carusos were so-so, the curling iron works but is still a little iffy, and blowdrying with the round brush did nada. So something was bound to work eventually, lol! I was really dreading using hot rollers because I thought it would be a giant pain in the ass, but when you just roll seven of them up for your whole head and leave 'em in for 5 minutes, it's a lot less work, really, than the human-hair styling routine I was previously a slave to. And of course, the synth hair dries so much faster anyway. SAS: I'm thinking that the results here would be typical of any monofiber: PH, Dome, Prostyles, or Trimco. Mine's a PH/Dome mix, but I don't think there would be much difference between these brands as far as this kind of heat-styling goes. PlastikHaar is cheaper and comes in the most colors. I think if there are any differences, it would be more about the textures available on install (although you can change those) and how well they melt for heat-sealing (if you're using that method, which I'm not); Boogiemama would be the best to comment on that aspect. To everyone: I'm on the lookout for the biggest hot rollers I can get my hands on.
