My Cinderella extensions went in this morning... as I suspected, 75 strands weren''t enough, and I personally think it looks kinda weird. I may buy another bag and have them put in... I haven''t decided yet.
The hair quality is excellent, so far... but it hasn''t been washed yet, so I''m not sure how well the look will hold over time. I used two bags of light brown and one of super-pale blonde, and the colors look great together... some foils in my own hair would probably blend it better though (I''m a brunette).
My one huge beef-- NEVER agree to pay someone by the hour. If they have any experience at all, they have an idea of how much time it takes and what their time is worth, so they should have a flat rate in mind. I spent at least an hour sitting in the chair seething while my stylist kept taking cigarette and coffee breaks... and, unfortunately, I''m much too mild to actually say anything. You live and learn... and I''ll never agree to do it again. :S
I have to be at work in an hour, but I''ll post some pics later! :)

What do you think looks weird about it?

Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?

My natural hair is chin length, and this still is way down my back... it seems too thin from the neck-down. My hair is exceptinally fine, so for me to really make this distinguishment takes a lot...

I agree, I never charge my clients by the hour, I charge by the job. If you charge by the hour, then they think they own you, and you can't even take a break to go to the bathroom!
It's less stressful that way. Many times the client and I will break for lunch, or sometimes the client needs cigarette breaks.

Wow! If you were being charged by the hour and your stylist was taking coffee or cigarette breaks, I would think that he/she would deduct that time from the final total, at least. I love cigarettes and coffee, but those kinds of breaks shouldn't be considered billable hours.
Anyway, it just sounds like you need some more--75 is very few; I'd think you'd want at least 150. Hair extensions tend to get stringier, rather than fuller, the longer you wear them.
Good luck, and we'd love to see your pics!

Hey Posh, I agree, you need more than 75 to get the full, well integrated look you're after. And being charged for the stylists breaks is absolute horse$%&* Just out of curiosity, how much were you charged, and how long did the install take? Also, do you know whether or not the stylist split the bonds? Keep us posted on how well the hold up.
Thanks!
