Just out of curiousity, Will Blowing drying your hair too often lighten the shades of your hair?

eg mine is black, will it turn out brown?

I think it all depends on if your hair is naturally black or dyed. But I'm pretty sure that it won't make much difference either way. Blow drying can be rough on your hair anyway. Try not to blow dry your hair every day. Just my opinion.

I agree with Iris.

I started getting split ends and extremely dry hair after having to blow dry every day.

I'm now letting my hair grow longer and just air drying it and/or clipping it up in a french twist (looks good for work!).

Hi Hi:

I blow dry my hair on a low setting.  So far I have had good luck.
