I'll agree that wigs are /not/ an accurate way to determine how your hair would look best. (And neither is digital imaging.)

Any girl could try on a Portia di Rossi-like wig and conclude that she'd look good in long, blonde hair. But would /her/hair grow out that way? Probably not.

I have several wigs I use for plays and live role-playing events, and they all look a LOT nicer than real hair. My favorite is a waist-length burgundy one I wore to be Poison Ivy one Halloween. I got compliments everywhere I went.

But not only are wigs perfectly styled and beautifully textured, but they often have three times the amount of hair a normal human would.

BTW, Shania's trademark thick, thick mane is helped by extensions. :(
