Following a recent bout of meningitis, Posh Spice, aka Victoria Caroline Adams, paid a London salon $1400 to have multi-colored braids in the so-called "Pocohontas" style, only to emerge hiding the lot under a scarf!

Notwithstanding the morality of parting with so much cash for a haircut (husband David Beckham also paid $500 for a buzzcut, so they've both more money than sense), has anybody ever seen it? I've trawled all the papers and Spice-related sites, to no avail. Has anyone seen the style, and more to the point, was it worth it?

Posh was on Regis this morning with the same style, mid way down the back brushed back brown hair. Nothing new.
