I don`t know how far ahead you are in the current series of "Frasier", but we have just seen the one where Daphne (Jane Leeves) returns from the `health spa` with a new figure - and a new hairstyle!
Impressed? Well, no actually. We all agreed that her previous bangs were a disaster, now she`s had about 3 inches off and it`s quite up-to-the-minute choppy. But what would you call it? It doesn`t hang down, yet it`s too long for a bob - it seems to be neither one thing nor the other. In other words, IMO a bit of a mess.

Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Who said "we all agreed" that her previous bangs were a disaster? I thought she looked very sexy with long bangs. I think her current style is a disaster. Does absolutely nothing for her.

Her present shorter look is humdrum. At this point, describing the choppy look as "up-to-the-minute" seems inaccurate as this "look" has been afflicting the trendoids for a year now. Boring and bad. Anyway, although bangs look good on some women, I agree with Phil that on Jane they were terrible. JMO.

I was wondering if I was watching an old rerun when I saw her on Tuesday. Last I remembered, her hair had grown quite long.
Anyway, I loved the new look on her, I found it very stylish. On someone else perhaps it would be bad. But for some reason, on her it looked great.
You don`t have to "call it" anything, it can still look good.
