For some inexplicable reason, Amy Brenneman has decided that her long curls weren`t working for her, and so she needed to hack them off. It`s now in a bob that falls between chin and shoulder-length. It looks ok, as you can see from the image link below. But, if you want to depress yourself (meaning Gord), check out the URL link to WireImage where you can see what it looked like as recently as June.

I don`t get it.

Later,
JF

P.S. On the upside, Elizabeth Shue`s longer `do looks great on her: http://www.wireimage.com/GalleryListing.asp?navtyp=CHM===3814 - http://www.wireimage.com/GalleryListing.asp?navtyp=CHM===3814

Ah, Flea, we suffer together - look, another actress with straight, shoulder-length, unstyled, boring hair! What fun! I actually think a haircut wasn`t a bad idea for Amy - her curly mane was getting kind of unkempt - but I was thinking more of just taming it a bit, trimming a couple of inches, and/or doing something with the "non-part" at the top of her face, where it just kinda gets pushed around. Maybe if she let it go curly at that length it would look better. Right now it just looks like she purposely lost one of her best physical features.

JF,

Many of us are aware of your devotion to the long and curly, but Amy`s hair looks great, and it is a great look for her, imho. Besides, change is good for the soul, and if there was no change, this board would be very boring!

Agree with the Fleaman on both accounts. Love Elizabeth`s longer hair.As for Amy`s bob, it`s cute but the longer curls were so beautiful.

totally agree. she had those curls for too long and the cut really works for her.The curls were getting out of hand so she did the right thing. Sherri L

Aye... she looks very ordinary now. Nothing spectacular about the look at all. I`d love to knwo what she was thinking... was she following Kim Delaney`s example since they share the same time slot? (Yes, i know Kim didn`t cut her hair... but she did lose the curls :-( )

I can`t believe she cut her hair. Bob=Boring! What is it lately with all these long hair actresses cutting their hair short. Anyone can have short hair but long hair is special.

Personlly I can`t say it`s any better or worse than before... i think it looks great either way. Hows that for sitting on the fence! However, I do love change, so glad to see something different.
