Has anyone else seen the new pictures of Nicole Kidman with very short hair? I'm trying to find the pictures on the net but they are definitely in the following UK newspapers... Daily Star Daily Mirror |

I could be wrong, but the 1st pic looks like a wig. The second looks more real, but could be a wig as well. As for the style, I generally prefer shorter lengths, but thumbs down so far. Ms. Kidman seems better suited for medium and longer lengths. (She has very strong features.) |

She looks really cute, I just love the micro fringe. It looks far better than the mass of curls she has had recently. However, It does look like a wig. For my money, she looks good long and very short - inbetween just doesn't work. ------------- |

Interesting...I'm really not sure. On one hand, if she did cut it, it would explain why she had been going gradually shorter over the last few months so that this cut wouldn't be as much of a shock. On the other hand, Nicole's hair, while curly, isn't really that thick, so with the short length, layering, and natural thickness, they may have been able to mash it under a cap that tight. Remember Jennifer Lopez's awful wig in "Enough" which was short and managed to contain her massive mane before she cut it. So jury's still out. Oh, and for what it's worth, I don't think it's that flattering on her. JF |

I was watching Entertainment Tonight, and they said it is a wig. The wig is for a roll in an upcoming film. Although I wouldn't be 100% surprised to see her cut her hair short, but not quite THAT short. Definately wig, 100% |

| well she did say she was going to chop it short awhile back so this could be it. I like it, its better than some of the other styles shes had recently. It does make her look alot differntly but still pretty though. |

Access Hollywood also said it was a wig. I believe it is a wig because the color is darker than she had with the light curls. I think it looks great(her best look since the long straight hair) on her and maybe she will cut it if she likes how it looks on her. I noticed also that Nicole lost a of weight recently and is to thin at the moment. ------------- |

Not to flame anyone, but Entertainment Tonight is not just some magazine or website. It's the #1 Entertainment TV show in the US. If they say it is a wig, then it is a wig, until proven otherwise!

| Well I don't have the necessary evidence to back this up, but I can confirm that it is a wig because I have just seen Nicole live on television at the BAFTAs (British Oscars) and her hair remains. I guess pics will be up on the web tonight or tomorrow. |

| I think the wig fiasco was just her way of testing the world's reaction to such a dramatic change, prior to the actual act of cutting it all off for good. In the above link her hair is pulled back very tightly - giving her further experience of a world without those gorgeous curls tumbling around her face. She is preparing herself mentally for the change. Furthermore, I think that Nicole is fundamentally an honest person and wouldn't want to deceive everyone by wearing a wig for one day and then chickening out of the whole short hair thing. |
