Yes, I'm a great fan of the short haircuts. But this one is nothing but a disaster: http://www.bigpicturesusa.com/production/030403/isbella_rossellini_web/pages/Isabella%20Rossellini_030403.htm - http://www.bigpicturesusa.com/production/030403/isbella_rossellini_web/pages/Isabella%20Rossellini_030403.htm

It would look real cute on a young star, but she is past her prime, and her makeup cannot salvage the look. Give Jennifer Love Hewitt or Sarah Michelle Gellar that cut, and people would bring the picture to a salon. She is a porcelin beauty, but her age is showing, and this hair..uh uh

I have to agree with Joee. Isabella's face, I hate to say, is too heavy to wear a pixie well.
Also, it is not a particullarily good pixie cut. Too plain not much shape to the cut.
I wear my hair that short as well but my cut is better. More shape to it. My hair is cut a little shorter on the sides and a little more shape in the front. Also my face is thinner(of course I'm 28, Isabella I would assume is 40ish and I know it is easy to put on weight when people get older. Not a knock on her).
Also, quite frankly, her clothes are dowdy, her eyebrows aren't shaped well, she could use a somewhat larger or more interesting pair of earrings, her makeup is plain, and please get rid of the bright red lipstick!
I guess I have been pretty critical of Isabella! Of well, I don't know her (tee hee )!

She had her hair short a few years ago (I remember seeing her on Letterman after she first cut it) and it looked fantastic. This looks like she lost a bet to someone.

If she took a little gel and gave it some movement it would look better but have to agree with most of the other posts. Probably not the best choice for her face (I never thought she was attractive)

Letterman fawns all over Isabella when she guests on his show. I know she's supposed to be some sort of international beauty, but I've never seen it, no matter the hairlength.

Most girls are to chicken to do some thing so daring. Maybe if she did some thing like put gel in it and spike it some.

I don't think she has ever had really long hair. Her hair is fine and thin and she has said that it works better for her short. I have to agree with everyone else though, it does not look good in this short, severe cut. She is at least 50 though so she need some softness around her face. I have found that what looks good on young girls, even if it is badly cut, can look glaringly bad on us older women. Unfair but true.

I agree. Her pixie cut is too severe and short on her. Not at all flattering at her age and for her face shape. I love her hair in the movie she was in "Roger Dodger", she had a lovely straight reverse bob that parallels her jawline. Very flattering and makes her look much younger than her age.
Only few people look good with pixie cuts, not everyone can look good in those cuts. It depends on the face shape and features if they mesh well with super short haircut.

I agree with Gord. Does anybody look good in this haircut?

Lev thanks for the pic. I guess that is long for her. Now that brings up another question what is long to people? Me mid back and longer is long. What is long to you?

Mike, don't get mad at Lev if he doesn't answer right away. He posted that in April 2003.

I don't get mad I was just hoping someone one jump on my question. Like the pic he sent was almost shoulder lenght hair that was long. Maybe that is the longest she ever had it. But the meat of my question is what is long? Kramer what is long in your book.
