In the new issue of people magazine (7/21/2003) there's a picture of Alyssa Milano sporting a Rosemary's Baby style pixie. Couldn't find any pics online but it is in the latest People (p. 14)

Thanks for the tip. I will have to check it out. Since I wear a short pixie I am always interested in how other women look in it!

Nope whoops, my bad. upon further examination(of other photos) it's just pulled back. Too bad.

The caption in People magazine refers to her as "freshly shorn" so I am pretty sure that she cut it.

Haven't seen the pic, but I wouldn't doubt it. Some celebs find a style they like and stick with it. Alyssa is a Celebrity Hair Talk board dream. She's cut her long hair short twice, first cropped then to a chin-length bob. She's grown it out each time. She's had so many styles in between.

In the last two years she's had long bangs, short bangs, one length to her shoulder blades and layered to her shoulders. She does it straight, wavy, parted on the right, left, and center. Worn various updos, in pigtails, and down. And she's been shades of blonde and brunette. I'm probably missing a style or two.

I wouldn't be surprised if she cut it. She's always trying something new. And rather than add extensions when she wants a change she'll probably grow it out in interesting styles.

Since she cut her short bangs I figured that she was just waiting for the moment to cut it all off. She always has it pulled back with shot bangs almost like she wanted it short but the network won't let her.

She is incredible with any style. Most of the tome I like her with longer hair(despite normally liking short) because she is so creative with it. its always pulled back, pinned to the side, something new every time.

Saw the people. definitely cut, definitely short. Shortest i've seen Alyssa since Double Dragon, where she was really short and really blonde. Apalling movie though. The new cut looks really cute.

one thing that really shocks me about this move is that Alyssa recently got a tattoo on the back of her neck.

Neck tattoos are by far my least favorite, not sexy or attractive at all IMO. Most women who get them seem to do so because they like the versatility of wearing their hair up or down depending on if they want to show it. Having a pixie it will be front and center(ok, back and center).

Sorry if any of you ladies have neck tattoos, I ussually like girls like Alyssa with some tats showing. She's just kind of crossed the line to having too many.

Saw it! Very nice. (She looks very young.)

Can't wait for more public appearance photos.

Haven't seen it yet. Somewhat surprised that the producers went for it. Will be interested to see how it works into the storyline, if it does. It's always a big pet peeve of mine when an actress makes a major change like that and no one on their show acknowledges it. But I digress.

Anyway, look for pix soon as the summer tv press previews crank up. The WB's should be in the next few weeks and hopefully Alyssa will drop by.

If it's not relevant to an episode plot like Sarah Michelle Gellar's cut on "Buffy" was, could we assume the other characters acknowleged it at some other time?

I picked up the issue. It's not a good shot of Alyssa, and the cut doesn't look that great in the picture. I'll reserve judgement until I see a better picture since Alyssa had a pixie about 10 years ago and it looked great. Not the blond look from "Double Dragon" but after that. A cut that looked great on her at 21 might not look as good at 31.

All the pictures I'd seen up until now were either small or poor angles. After seeing the picture below, I give Alyssa's new look an enthusiastic thumbs up. It's not as cute as the long one-length style she sported two years ago, but a major improvement over the jagged bangs/jagged layered looks she's experimented with since.

Rod,

Couldn't be more right. Despite the too much make-up, still was smokin'. Even the Brittanies made rebounds from earller hair disasters. Was Ms. Spears wearing a maternity dress or a night gown?
