Marley Shelton is featured in the current In Style (Kate Hudson on cover) with about a five page spread with a nod to the fact she recently (3 months ago?) cut her hair short. She looks OK. A little to runway for my tastes but it's nice to see a SHG getting some pub. She pays some homage to Mia Farrow, whom does deserve a lot of the credit for Marley's look.

Marley looks sensational in her very very short pixie.- Mia started the trend of the ultra-short pixie. Mia looked great, Marley looks even better, she's beautiful , a real doll!!!!!

unny, at the time Mia Farow's haircut was considered to be a replica of Jean Seaberg's haircut for SAINT JOAN, which became her trademark hairstyle. She's most famous for that look in the French film (Goddard I believe) BREATHLESS. That was less than a decade before Ms. Farrow's PEYTON PLACE transformation on television. Also of interest is that for the record you'd think that Vidal Sassoon created the pixie hairstyle for Ms. Farrow for ROSEMARY'S BABY. In fact he was hired for promotional purposes to create the slightly softer version of the cut she'd been wearing for quite some time. Her initial longer hair in that movie was in fact a wig. Ms. Farrow reportedly cut her long tresses herself in a petulant rage after PEYTON PLACE executives refused to allow her to join her boyfriend Frank Sinatra during a weekend when they thought she might be needed. After her self-cropping a professional stylist evened out the job. She was wearing the shortest version of the (by then) "Mia Farrow style" at her marriage to Frank Sinatra, when her boyish cut was trimmed by Frank's barber. This was long before ROSEMARY'S BABY.

I just picked up "In Style." I thought Marley looked great in the candid shots at events, but wow. These shots with pros outfitting her and making her up look incredible.

Did anyone see pics of Marley from the "Uptown Girls" premiere?

(Wireimage has better ones)
The only good thing I can say about this style is that there's no way her own hair could have grown that fast. I guess it's interesting to go skate-punk for a night, but... I'm glad (hope) it's not permanent

That is her hair. It's about a half inch longer than her last public appearance in June. Probably hasn't had a haircut in over a month. What she did was brush her hair forward over her very short bangs. While her pixie looks great on her, it isn't that versatile, so she probably decided to let her hair grow a little bit and have some fun.
You can see larger pictures by going to Dailyceleb.com and type in her name. One of the pictures, taken from the side, shows her hair is still around her ears.

Here's a direct link to the DailyCeleb pics of this rather unfortunate version of her pixie:

Marley looked much better with the very short pixie than this style. This style looks contrived, artificial, sort of a Bevery Hills middle aged matron sort of look.

Tina, Klaatu, Natasha, rest easy. Marley appears to have cut her bangs. This picture is from last night.

Can't a girl experiment? She'll be on Carson Daly Tuesday.

I have to reconsider my last vote on her hair. When she first got the pixie she looked hot and I thought it was a great move.
Bubble Boy was on TV a couple of nights ago and I saw her with her long blond hair and I just have to wonder whether she looks as good or even significantly worse after the cut. She simply had a great head of hair in that movie.

I think it's sweet on her. . . and the blonde standing to her right could do with a similar style, too.
