Two words sum up my feelings: "Oh yeah!"
OK, maybe a few more: "Gawd, does Holly look sexy!"

Yes, her hair is beautiful, but she is only 5 feet tall and looks much better with short hair. Long and curly hair is much too heavy for such a fragile person.

Holly Hunter is one of my all-time favorite actresses and I've followed her career since it started... as well as her hairstyles. I guess I have to know what you mean by "fragile." I've never looked at Holly as a fragile anything. Her roles are always strong women. In interviews, she's extremely self-confident. And she seems to have remarkable hair that appears very thick and healthy. I prefer it long and straight, rather than long and curly or wavy. Are you suggesting that because someone is on the short side or on the thin side, they can't have long and curly hair? Please explain.

I ment her as a real person, which obviously differed from the roles played by her in the movies. The whole image of the short and thin girl can be dominated by her very long or big hair. And I think this is Holly's case.

I'm sure I read this wrong... Gord I know you are not saying its wrong to make assumptions about some based on their hair are you? The word ditz comes to mind...

I thought that was what Lev was doing. That's why I asked for the explanation.

I think she looks great with long hair. People say someone''s too short or tall or thin or fat or old or any other number of reasons for long hair-so accordingly no one looks good in long hair in these people minds.
