Biggest surprises:
- Celine Dion had her old hair back. I don't care what you guys think about her music, but her hair looked great. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/040209/ids_photos_en/r4238902332.jpg - http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/040209/ids_photos_en/r4238902332.jpg

- Gwen Stefani had long hair again. Yay! http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/040209/ids_photos_en/r3461489826.jpg - http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/040209/ids_photos_en/r3461489826.jpg

- Courtney Love had long extensions. The woman needed something. The long hair didn't hurt. Maybe combed long hair would work better?!? http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&u=/040209/482/kdj10402091046&e=5&ncid=707 - http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&u=/040209/482/kdj10402091046&e=5&ncid=707

- Martina McBride's hair looked shorter or styled different, which made her face look rather big: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&u=/040209/ids_photos_en/r906163828.jpg&e=2&ncid=707 - http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&u=/040209/ids_photos_en/r906163828.jpg&e=2&ncid=707

Didn't Sarah Jessica Parker used to do commercials for hair color? What was with the dishwater blond last night?

Ok, I know you like long hair and that is fine. But can you really look at Martina and say her face looks too big? I think she looks pretty hot. What does everyone else think?

Martina looks amazing! A huge improvement over the long hair she sported a year ago.

Total babe, on another note, i think faith's hair is just a tad too long. IMO

My two cents!

We all know what opinions are like...and I've got both!

I totally agree with Gord, for the most part.
Without a doubt, "Most Improved" for this night, had to go to Celine. This I think, is as good as it gets, for Ms. Dion.

Gwen was cute, better for sure than the pointy, horn-like updo we've seen lately...
I'm sort of indifferent where Martina M. goes, and the style doesn't move me in either direction. Didn't love her look , didn't hate it.
I also quite liked Madonna's look. I thought it was rather fresh(on her of course). I often thought she looked a great deal better blown out straight, and I quite like the length. Interesting too, was that fact that it was her own hair...That in and of itself is something we don't see everyday.
Faiths hair..love it on my mom, expect more from her.

Whats really sad is that this is the biggest music/fashion event of the year and these are all the comments we can get from it.

Real lack of variety and creativity on the part of the stars. I'm still waiting for someone like Gwen Stephanie to do something that is actually worth talking about.

Yep, used to and still does. Dunno the answer to your question. Maybe its Garnier's latest color, "Dishwater Blonde"?

You know the Grammy world has changed when Joan and Melissa show up to critique the clothes. At least George Clinton has a strong individual sense of style (hair and otherwise).

Two of the most utterly useless people on this planet.
