About a month or so, ssjockey wrote that he felt that Holly Hunter''s hair overpowered her. I''m not sure if it was during one particular appearance or in general. I, for one, think she has some of the best hair in show business. Still feel the same way, jock?

Holly doesn't look bad with that hair, but it doesn't look real, it looks like a wig.
Holly also resembles Julia Roberts a little in that photo. Interesting.

Yep Gord, still think it overpowers her. IMHO, she is trying too hard to look young. To me, Holly will always look best as she did in Brodcast News!

That is the hair of a porcelain collector's doll, not a real human being :-P .

More awesome than a manatee!

Hmm... this criticism seems odd, somehow. Should celebrities be expected to submit willingly to the "ravages" of time? On the contrary, celebrities do spend billions of dollars trying to look as young, healthy and vigorous as possible.

And you know, some people might be of the opinion that if Ms. Hunter cut her hair in a bob that she might be "trying too hard to look old (or serious)."

Long hair on middle aged women usually make them look older, not younger.
A bob cut usually makes a middle aged woman look a little younger.
I'm not quite certain why this is, but invariably, in my opinion, this is true.

Oh, I dunno about that theory.....Melanie Griffith has really short hair and is about Holly's age. I definitely think Holly is looking a lot younger and better.

I suppose it depends on how much someone drinks.

I love Holly's hair as it is. Do we not remember the chop a few years back? When it was short it looked horrible, as it inched it's way back, through various stages and cuts, (including, the "all accomodating bob"), it looked horrible, and imo, was not till it passed the shoulders, that she looked cute again.
I can't stand the "over 40-must lopp off hair" school of thought. I think there are short hair people, and long haired people. Holly, imo, is the classic long haired gal.

OMG! I cut a picture of Holly Hunter out of a recent issue of Entertainment Weekly because I so loved her long hair in that picture. See link below.

Love it!

P.S. I don't know why my copy and post of the URL is messed up. Sorry.

Love that picture Gord....The length is beautiful and the color is fabulous on her.

Now Benicio could use a little hair advice himself in this picture....I mean..he is delicious, but the hair needs some attention.
