I think even a long hair affectionado like Gord may have to agree with this.

Alyssa Milano has the best style in hollywood.

Long or short she is always doing something new and creative. Her hair always looks fabulous. It was great long, it was great in a super-short pixie, and now this is her "awkward growing out faze?"?

Just to change up her bangs are swept to the right instead of to the left like she's done them traditionally. She accessorizes with a little flower. I have no idea if her hair is naturally curly or not but overall I think she's the only celeb out there who is daring and creative with her hair without having a lot of bona-fide disasters.

Incidentally I have no idea if she's actually growing it out or just modifying the style a bit. It does appear to have not only added length but been trimmed to a new style. I'm not suprised to see her add some length to the back because she has a pretty good sized tattoo on her neck (I don't like it). In her business the ability to hide that has some value.

Really? Gord's gonna agree? Did you just get here?

C'mon given the choice between the current Alyssa cut:

And a bewigged Alyssa on "Charmed":

Which do you think Gordo is gonna pick?

Oh, and just for my two cents, I think she is growing it out and is in that awkward stage between a really short style and getting it long enough so that it could be considered an "overgrown" short style. Right now, it's just longer.

And her hair is naturally wavy/curly, btw.

JF

P.S. Personally, I kinda dug her as Jeannie:

Love the long bangs.

I think she looks great in both short and long. But I''m with Jf I prefer her a bit longer. Perhaps long and brown with lots of blonde hilites

I'm not saying that her current cut is going to be his favorite. I'm saying that she is one of the only people in hollywood who is daring enough to consistently try new things and stylish enough to come out with good results.

My expectation of Gord would be that he's say "I prefer her back in her long hair days but she does always have good style" From a guy like him thats pretty huge praise for her current look.

I actually preferred her longer look to the pixie, I just think in general her daring and experimentation keeps her always looking fresh and makes her more attractive. If you're interested enough in hair to post on this board then what more can you ask for.

For Clarification:

I'm saying Alyssa Milano has the best sense of style over the span of the last several years, not that this is her best style ever.

No way would I expect Gord to say he likes this the best. I don't like it the best. I think its a pretty damn great way to handle a transition period that is butt-ugly on many women as they grow out pixies. I haven't seen a really bad moment yet.

I don't like her haircut at all. It just looks a little...weird. The long hair pic isn't good, either, because she's got such a small face and frame and all that hair is too much. I have seen short cuts on her that I do like...just not this current one.

She looked great with most of her long hairstyles, although the pic above isn't flattering. With her hair pushed so far forward, it overwhlems her.

Her supershort style looked great on her also. I don't like the current look nearly as much. It looks messy and overgrown, but it's tough for any cut to not look good on her. Even those horrendous short uneven bangs couldn't make her look bad.

She's been sporting the longer pixie since November or December. With hair as short as hers, she couldn't maintain that style for four or five months without a trim. So, I think this look is a decision and not a grow out.

The Jeannie look was a wig, Jerkyflea. Come on about that one.

Well of course it was. Never said it wasn't. And the other long haired pic is also a wig. Both were from "Charmed". I was just commenting that I was surprised the Jeannie wig actually looked as good as it did and that the long bangs ON THE WIG we flattering to her.

So there ya go.

I like her best in very short hair, but she's such a beautiful girl she can make anything look good. I do wish she'd lay off a bit on the tattoos, though :-P . I have no problem with tattoos, but once they start appearing in places like the neck, it's a bit tacky, to me.
Oh, almost forgot to say, her use of hair accessories is really cute :-) . How could I forget something like that? *pokes self*

I honestly don't pay much attention to Alyssa and it's not just because of the drastically short haircuts she's had over time. I'm not into tattoes or nose piercing. She also smokes (I know a lot of actresses smoke, but she's smoked since her teen years, which means she hasn't been much of a role model) and comes off extremely arrogant in interviews and specials I've seen. On the other hand, her "Charmed" co-star Holly Marie Combs really floats my boat. http://members.aol.com/ScoF/mw1/page1.htm - http://members.aol.com/ScoF/mw1/page1.htm
And, yes, with Holly, it is about the total package as well -- especially the hair.

I love Alyssa with long hair, especially straight(don't like it curly, hate it with bangs)...check out the 2 pics above one and other on the left side for my fav Alyssa look...

I have to agree that long hair enhances her beauty in a much more favorable way. I think the original pixie is really cute, but the in between style she has now is not very flattering.
