LOOKS AWFUL....so much better with short hair....she is not even a good actress...she thinks shes british and names her kid after a damn fruit....i feel so sorry for that kid when she becomes a teenager

It's unrelated to her hair, but I agree with Jack...she's got her fake british accent. Maybe she'll do the mom chop after having her daughter grapefruit.
My two cents.

Getting back to hair comments... love the curls, but so badly wish she'd drop the heavy middle part and add some soft bangs to give the whole thing some lift. It just hangs so heavy on her this way!

I agree about the middle part, not her best look.

This is the best I've ever seen her hair. I like the length, the curls, the color, etc.

I don't usually ask off topic questions but are you serious she named her daughter Grapefruit?

No...I was being sarcastic because she actually named her daughter "apple". Hence the sarcasm.

It is a strange coincidence that she looks a lot like Madonna did right after she had Lourdes...that whole Pre-raphaelite soft curls cascading...like "ray of light" ? Even down to the golden color.
It's a great look. I wish I could look like that after having had any of my kids! I was the queen of the disheveled pony tail!
Apple is a cool fruit and a decent computer.

Looking fantastic -- in fact, as good as I've ever seen her. Glad she kept the length... so far, at least.

I despise "the mom chop". It's become one of my greatest enemies in life.

That last link to yahoo I like the way her hair looks there. Better then the ones on top. Thanks for the link.

Then don't get it for yourself. But mom's chop their hair because they want it short. Mom's have no time for their hair. They have more important things to worry about.

Being that you're male and all, somehow I don't think that particular decision is gonna come up for you. You should be pretty safe.

I hate the "No time for their hair" crap. As was pointed out before short hair can actually take up a hell of a lot more time - at best you can just let your long hair get messy, at least then it's still THERE, it's not going to fall out if you don't take care of it. And even so they could do their hair while watching the child play, or anything like that. It doesn't take long for a quick brush; do mothers stop having baths and showers too?
If you want short hair, fine, I just hate when people their hair a certain way purely because it's expected of them.

Oh and I was talking about my possible future girlfriend(best I could do =P), who has hair down to her knees and is very beautiful. It would be such a shame. She might look okay in short hair; but I don't know if she'd ever grow it back.
It seems the Soccer Mom type hair do automatically gets dry, scruffy and hairspray-ish looking on it's own. Eee.

Yes, mothers of children under 4 no longer have time for baths. Some don't shower every day, and when they do it's a quick one. Children can't be left alone while their playing. They need constant supervision. Children of this age have no clue what dangerous is. Even older children shouldn't be left alone for long periods of time. Being a parent means taking responsibility.
And you can't spend a half hour to an hour in the bathroom while watching your child play. Your child isn't going to stay in one place very long.
Some short hairstyles do take a long time for upkeep. Those are rejected by moms. They want low maintenance. Most moms I know spend all day in a ponytail regardless of how short or long the hair is. If it's in a ponytail, why have it long? That just takes longer to care for.
I know a lot of young moms and I've never heard one tell me she was cutting her hair purely because it was expected of her. They do it because they don't have time.
Now some moms keep their hair long and sacrifice the time with their kids. That's a choice, one I think more moms reject.

Wow Vineman...
I sure hope your g/f never has to endure cancer or any other medical related hair loss...she'd lose her hair and her b/f...sounds like that's what you're insituating....???
My two cents.

I've just never gotten the attraction with Gwyneth.
IMO she's everything I don't like about long hair(yes there are many things I do like about it, it depends on the person wearing it). Gwynethi is generic, she's everything that is "supposed to be" pretty, and she's just really quite boring. When she shifts her hair from medium golden blond to light golden blond and the beauty mags try to make her out as a trendsetter I just don't get it.
I really like people who make their own styles a little more creatively. I guess some people really like her look but I just have never seen it....

I agree, I don't get it about Gwyneth. It's not as though I find her unattractive, but she does nothing for me whatsoever. I'm not fond of her acting either. My opinion is she should not have won the Oscar for "Shakespeare In Bed" or whatever it was called. She looked way too boney.
Just my opinion. The hair in the pictures above looked okay, she has the luxury of having a stylist, a nanny and a personal trainer. Still not nearly as pretty as she thinks she is.
