Hunter Tylo (use to be on one of the soaps)
I saw a quick shot of her on TV during what I think was a infomercial. Anyway, it looked like she had short hair - checked some sites but didn't find any pictures of her with short hair. Does anyone have any info. on this - one way or another?

I hope not. Her gorgeous hair was one of the main reasons she was a two-time winner of People Magazine's most beautiful people recognition. OK, so she also has great eyes and lips...

If you ask me, cutting that gorgeous hair short was a *huge* mistake. :(

PS: And what happened to those lips ...?

Talk about a monumental mistake! It's hard to believe. Bob

Oh dear - not a good look. Its not that I'm against people changing their hairstyle but this looks like she did it herself.

That's just awful. I love when actresses cut there hair short, but that is awful.

Had she done that in here Melrose Place days, she would have been fired, and definitely NOT won a lawsuit. No judge could defend that.

You need to copy the URLs and paste them into the address bar of a new browser window. Tripod does not tolerate direct links to individual images on their servers -- so they send the tripod logo instead of the actual image when you click on one of those links.

On this website, it says Hunter says she cut her hair because she needed a change. As with Natalie Raitano growing her hair out, I think any woman who has had her hair in one style for a long time should change if she wants to. No matter how good the style looks.

Hunter's long hair looked great. The first two short hair photos aren't very good at showing her hair. The last picture is breathtaking.

Thanks for the help on posting the pictures. Now that I've seen them... yikes. It's rare that I see such a clear-cut case of someone who absolutely should stick with long hair to balance out their facial features. The last pic isn't bad, but if she has to be that primped and posed all the time to make it work, it's not a good sign.

I would have suggested she cut it to the shoulders first before she went with such a dramatic change.

Nope, don't like it. Bet it looks great on lots of other women, but it doesn't really suit her, does it?

Still rejoicing in Kansas...

However, I do believe the reason it's hard to like is because she has WAY TOO MUCH collagen in her lips. It is her plastic surgeon, not her hairdresser, who should be shot...those lips look terrible, without them, and her natural smile back(like in her long hair pic) I do think the response would be more favorable to her short hair...either way, I like the cut.

My two cents.

Before I start, yes, I believe she's a few psi over the maximum recommended pressure on those lips these days.

Given that, this is actually a very interesting discussion if you look at it from a different angle. Imagine, if you can, that you had never seen Hunter Tylo and her lips before. Now go look at this picture again: http://gemini_galnj.tripod.com/post-2-1083956600.jpg - http://gemini_galnj.tripod.com/post-2-1083956600.jpg

If we had run across this picture on WireImage or the like, I could guarantee you, that someone - probably multiple people - would have come over here praising the really stylish and cute short cut on this actress (myself included). You'd have complimented how the bangs bring out her eyes, how the style complements her face shape, and how it lends her whole face a rather intensely beautiful look. She almost looks like a cross between Kelly LeBrock and Bobbie Phillips (if anyone other than me knows who Bobbie Phillips is: http://www.tvtome.com/images/people/17/3/59-3904.jpg - http://www.tvtome.com/images/people/17/3/59-3904.jpg ).

The problem is, that you HAVE seen Hunter before and remember that, with long hair, she looks pretty spectacularly like this: http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&id=1803471095&cf=premiere&photoid=198000&intl=us - http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&id=1803471095&cf=premiere&photoid=198000&intl=us

This is very similar to both Alanis Morisette and Sheryl Crow cutting their hair. Both of them cut their hair to a short-medium length, which was widely decried as a bad move. However, it wasn't until both went to much shorter, less unflattering cuts that it became apparent that the medium length cuts were actually pretty darn cute. The initial shock of the major change (especially if you liked the previous style a great deal) will preclude any objective look at how flattering the new style is in and of itself.

In other words, if Hunter goes even shorter, you'll wonder why she didn't keep that cute flippy bob...even while hoping she'll follow Sheryl's lead and grow it all back out.

Of course I do. :) She looked spectacular when she cut her hair short for "Chameleon II". Much better than any of her longer looks.

I love it!!!!!!!! About time she choped that hair, I think it knocks at least ten years off her age. As JF said it is a very well styled as far as flatering her features. It brings out her eyes makes her face look thinner and she just looks more rejuvenited, more sexy and so much prettier. i have been waiting a long time for this day to come. I used to watch the soap she was on and all i could think about was wanting to cut her hair. Happy yes I am, she looks great with short hair.
