The "Veronica Mars" star got wears her hair in a short choppy style on the show. The producers probably think this style conveys the spunky inquisitive detective that Veronica is.

In flashbacks from when Veronica was one of the popular kids, her hair is long one length. On "Jimmy Kimmel Live," last night, Kristin was sporting almost bra length curls. Since she sported short hair in "Gracie's Choice" and "Spartan" and does now on "Veronica Mars," the style she wore on Kimmel is probably extensions.
